Count me in. I'll be the guy breathing captain morgan and whatever else I can get my hands on to dull the pain.
I've got class up at the U tomorrow night, but I'll see if I can't sneak in when I get out. Still, I can't help but think that it's awfully sad that it's come to this.
Absolutely. May not enjoy it, but certainly, yes! And it even starts late enough for me to get home from work and watch live. Is that a good thing?
Will be there in my seats as always. This time I vow to not get pissed off and take it personally. I fully expect to lose and the non-soccer fan who has come with me a couple times is coming again this time. Both other games he came to the last couple years we won so maybe he can now feel our pain. (or is he good luck)
Strange question. And yes, abosultely tuned in. Wouldn't dream of missing it. For RSL junkies (like all of us here), there are numerous compelling sub plots to watch for tonight... Will Kreis attempt to duplicate his successful Houston match strategy (bunker down and rely on "hail marys" to Findley) If so and the match is still scoreless late, will KC (unlike Houston) be satisfied with the road draw? Assessment of the 3 Argies all possibly playing together Is Espindola unfit? Or is he just somewhat slow? Beckerman, Harris & Talley all on 4 yellow card danger--with the likes of EJ and Conrad to provoke them. Can St. Rimando remain rock-wall solid? Is Scott Sealy really on the comback trail (gulp)? Will Esky still be rusty and/or interested? Will RCB be audible on TV as they sometimes were in their past?
Of course..we know that most of the players stink but we still have to support the good players. We don't want them giving up. It is not like this is the last game of the season. Another positive it isn't like we are the only terrible team this year. LA with all their hidden money being almost as bad and now toronto. I like soccer and I have to think we will get better. The coach doesn't have much to choose from but he is trying IMO..
will not be attending.... losing excitement for this team fast.... thank goodness for the start of the European season to help fill the void. I personally went from 90% certain to buy season tickets this year to now re-considering buying them in the future, new stadium or not. I guess that makes me a lame, bandwagon jumping fan. But I expect a return on my ticket investment and haven't gotten it so far this year. I will be back when the organization gets its act together. I will continue to follow as a casual fan.
As long as JK is the coach, I will not be buying season tickets again. I understand going through the ups and downs with your team, but with how this orginazation has chosen to deal with problems, I can't stomach it.
What should I mark if I will be at the match, but not necessarily paying attention? It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun to yell at the opposing players warming up than to watch the game. Last time I got the KC trainer guy to call me a fat***. Easily the highlight of the season.
I'd add to the list... How does Mantilla look on the backline? Is he worth keeping beyond 2007? Do we get to see Morales?
