    Moscow right now.
many reasons. but I can explain how, and you'll see why

the heart muscle is basically what supplies the force to pump the blood through our circulatory system. The muscle's "pumping" action depends also on its strength, therefore, really weak muscle - low pressure, really strong developed muscle - high pressure. But that's not the end all of it- our system responds to changes in itself, thus, if theres a change somewhere, the body will adapt to that change, what we call a compensatory mechanism.

in this case, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy * is where the heart muscle has thickened to INCREASE the blood pressure (left side or the right side, depending where the lower pressure is) in the system. The thickening is actually just the muscle growing in size, and getting stronger.

To actually find out what caused this, we need one more piece of info : which side of the heart suffered from the hypertrophy.

    * hyper (excessive)
    trophic/ trophy/trophia (growth)
    cardio/cardia (heart)
    myo/myus (muscle)
    pathy/pathia (pathology)

im not going to bother going into the exact suffix/prefixes and their greek/latin declinations , im lazy, but I hope this helps :)

    cheers,

    warren

EDIT : i realise a what a fool i've been. I didn't mean to hijack your question apps, sorry. :X

The most disturbing football death I've seen to date has to be that of Miklos Feher. If anyone of you are curious enough, Youtube it.

It depends on your personality, but I do Geography, and not History. For me, Geography is a very easy subject that takes little learning. I wish I also did history though - I actually enjoy writing essays, and am interested.

As for science physics and chemistry - I am just crap at that.

In year 10, we choose what subjects we will keep or drop, and we then do those until the end of our schooling. I chose geography as a subject, and in December I will complete my final year of school. I've done geography throughout high school, and from the 6th year.

You want to have done well in English for a start. There's a lot of essay writing. 3000+ words most times. Your essay structure has to be spot on, including hierarchies etc. and the most important thing to remember is that when answering the question, you have to comment and prove what it's asking you to prove rather than narrate and tell the story. Cos to be fair, the examiner knows the story pretty well already.

How many essays do you write in As and then A2.
The most I have written has been 3000+ in english in year 10

    EDIT
would it be difficult to do Geography and History for A level

Nah it's been done, but generally if you like Geography, they'll recommend Geology. Or if it's History they try pushing you into Archaeology.

You do a lot of mock essays on different sections. For Instance in first year modern History we did, Russian Revolution, Weimar Germany and the Suffragettes we had two or so essays for each, of variable length. Always in the thousands though.

Football's worst injuries (not for the squeamish). The list is:

    1. Djibril Cisse ankle break for France
    2. Patrick Battison's poleaxe
    3. David Busst's double leg break
    4. Kieron Dyer's double leg break
    5. Colin Healy's ankle break (really nasty)
    6. Henrik Larsson's ankle break
    7. Luc Nilis's ankle break
    8. Alan Smith's ankle break and dislocation
    9. Jimmy Bullard's dislocated knee
    10. Jacob Olesen's dislocated and broken ankle
    11. Djibril Cisse's ankle break for Liverpool
    12. Pierluigi Casiraghi's leg break
    13. Petr Cech's busted head

I would say Francesco Totti's ankle break is pretty up there... that is one disgusting video.

In saying that, I haven't seen a lot of the ones mentioned, so I could be totally wrong.

the worst one in real time has got to be Patrick Battison's, because the keeper went out to hurt him, and the keeper did it in his domestic league too
