I hope vastly in favor of his return. We definitely need a good CB.

To be clear, he will be my least favorite player on the roster after what he did, but I don't care as long as he gets the job done.

There have been some stories in the media that the senior players don't want him back because of his refusal to stay last year after the demotion ... Hard to tell if these things are ever true, but it wouldn't be too hard to believe.

Why would Juventus need a 35 year old CB that is on the downside of his career? The two guys that they already have starting Andrade and Criscito are better options and a helluva lot younger.

He would be great as a mentor for them for a season or two.

i agree he would be nice to have back beacuse he is reliable and slightly more consistant than the younger players. he will be an excellent mentor becasue they kids need someone to learn from. i read one article that said that the senior members didnt want him back but then i read another one that said that they were encouraging management to bring him back because they know that it would strengthen the squad. sometimes you have to swollow your pride for the sake of the team and so i say if we can get him cheap why not bring him back....its not like he went to merda inter

Screw him and the rest that abandoned us, I don't care how good they are. I will still cheer for them with the national team but I never want to see any of them back in our jersey again. They left us when we needed them the most and don't deserve to wear the stripes.

I was so disappointed to see him move to Madrid last season that I'm not really keen on seeing him back, to be honest (although he was my 2nd favored Juve player). I wouldn't even see any of those players, who left us, back now...

If Canna has some heart and doesn't lust for money, he'll go to Napoli in order to play with his brother and make the Napoli fans' dream come true.

He would take playing time away from Criscito which would not be a very good idea. Besides he is not leaving Madrid where he can compete in the champions league to come back to Juventus. And I really do not think Juventus would take him back. They have plenty of CB's and guys like Grygera and Chiellini who can fill in at the spot if needed.

Cannavaro needs to get out of Spain if he values his legacy at all. Staying with Madrid is not an option.

He has said positive things about both Juve and Napoli since leaving. I think with Juve he views it as un-finished business because Rossi/Moratti/FIGC stole the scudetto's away.

Cannavaro has been in terrible form lately. I know that it would have been hard for him to turn down an offer from real last season, espically with his old coach there and just coming off a winning world cup to then play in Serie B, but then again, he had his best years at Juve, at much like Ibra and Viera, yeah it's all well and good to stay when your winning, but when your club really needs you, just jump off. I would be sceptical in signing him back for a couple of reasons:

    1) I want players who are proud to wear the Juve shirts, there are many champions who stayed with us (DP, Buffon, Nedved, Cammo, Trez). I know there is always rumours about trez being unhappy but really I didn't see it all on the pitch last year.

    2) He's form is deminishing. I know that going to another league can often be hard, but even his performances for the azzuri have been lack-luster.

    3) Cristico looks like an extremly exciting prospect, as a future cemented CB for Juve and the Azzuri, if Cannavaro comes back, Cristico will get limited game time. I know at the moment he is not the best CB in the Serie A, but I think give him a couple of seasons in the top flight, maybe some experience in the CL, and he'll be awesome, and a great signing considering that we paid very very little for him.

i think hes been playing poorly for the azzurri because i think real madrid completely ruined him. when he played at juve he was amazing now hes just cannavaro. i think that if he came back he may rediscover his form and finish that unfinished business
