This should be a win for us; let's face it, Rovers will be loving this. A visit from a big PL side. Yeah, I know we have a reputation with these teams, and it's not good, but we SHOULD win this. Who will Curbs play? Wright? Ashton, almost certainly. Maybe one or two of the fringe players too.

Bristol Rovers, to me, have never been a team that I thought about. They have no claim to fame, unlike their neighbours, Bristol City, who gave their name to the female bumpy bits that we are all so fond of. For our colonial friends, Bristol cities is rhyming slang for.....Ok, you guessed it. Anyway, my point is, what's a Bristol Rover? I've always thought a lot about Bristol cities, or just Bristols, if you want to sound real.

C'mon now Irons, don't let us down with this one.

Did you know that West Ham are the best performers in the league cup, of all clubs, even though we have never won it? About time we did then. :D

7AM!! You dont know you're born!;)

It's the real early hours for us down here. What I'd give for a 7 AM start for a live West Ham game on the box.

I would get up at 7am for a live match. Wouldn't have time to watch it on a work day mind you.

Tonight's match is on Sky so I am guessing that Setanta won't be showing it. Setanta are showing one West Ham EPL game before Christmas. Shocking for £10 per month.

    Damn.

The kiddies don't leave until 330 this year so I will miss the first half. And BigSoccer is blocked at work. Guess I will just be listening from work for the second half.

Our lot get out at 2:15, but I have to make sure their mummies dont run em down in the forecourt, which means i cant skedaddle til 2:30. Which means, if I need beer, which I will, I'll miss the first 15 minutes. So the choice is West Ham for 85 with no beer or West ham with beer for 75? Ah the dilemma!

Apparently, his girlfriend is having a baby and he is at the hospital.

And straight away, Bobby Zamora manages to not even hit the target from 6 yards.

It would be a miracle if he was back by Christmas.

Just pay the money and get the youngster Barnes in.
