That man's ego ended up costing Los Estados Unidos de Mexico about 1/3 of its land and potential wealth. Imagine the oil of Texas, the Sking of Aspen, the oasis of Las Vegas and the Beach front property of Cali all earning money to this day for the Mexican Government. It is incalcuable what that dictator cost the Mexican people.
