haha what? I was just curious since you guys are going to be pretty stacked once everyone is healthy. I'm looking forward to watching you guys play.
In all seriousness, the latest practice report on www.3rddegree.net has two options for our formation once Denilson is worked into the roster. I would check that out for a better, more informed, practical answer to your question.
i scoff at informed opinions and prefer to interject accordingly. personally, i would like to see the team switch to a 3 man backline, as i think that would limit playing a less talented player for the sake of a formation...but its so late in the season, i doubt we see that. but, assuming everyone was healthy again, this is what i would like to see... cooper- ruiz denilson toja -dax-pablo r-aa gbandi-goodson-moor sala or move dax to right mid, aa to left and toja inside...or just let them revolve throughout games. here is why: toja dax are two way players, with pablo a holding mid...so really you have 5 potential defenders...aa is at least attempting defense, so throw him in there as well. this lineup offers so much opportunity for possesion, which is what should be done when playing in 100 degree weather. plus it maximizes the talent you have, without forcing a less than healthy serioux on the field, or an in experienced yi or pitch...or worse, bobby rhine anywhere. with richardino, oduro, abe, etc all coming off the bench, that is even more fire power. i just hate the idea of benching our leading assist man, and best free kick taker.
ttu you actually have the best players set up. I'd push Denilson out further left and let Dax push up the middle ahead of toja and Ricchetti and push Alvarez out right some but that is the core. I can't stand pushing up from the backline with anyone other than a world class sprinter it just takes too long to develop. Toja and Ricchetti are more than capable of buffering the back line.

We'd be unstoppable. Well......we'd be very difficult to stop. Okay....we'd be harder to stop than we are today with our current 11 player limitations but not impossible to stop although actual improved non-stop-ability is generally immeasurable therefore almost not worth mentioning.
