Well these are 2 vital games we have here. I will be very happy if we get 4 points, but I think we can get 6 easily if we don't mess up.

while i can appreciate your easy optimism, i'll be happy with 4 points and will not even expect the boys to come home with 6

Well 6 points would rather be hoping thing. I mean 4 points I think is the more realistic goal, but I think Poland could do 6 depending on how Portugal plays really. I think Finland is a game that we will really want to win epically after that humiliating game last year. If we do get 4 points we still be on the top and have 23 points which I think is a really good position to be in when there is two spots open.

I'd like to see Poland starting in 4-4-1-1 formation, with line up:

    -------------------------Saganowski------------------------
    --------------------------Smolarek-------------------------
    ---Krzynowek-------------------------------Blaszczykowski---
    ---------------------Dudka---------Lewandowski-------------
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    --Bronowicki--------Zewlakow--------Bak-------Wasilewski----
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------Boruc-----------------------------

    How about your opinions?

I would switch Smolarek and Saganowski, move Dudka to defence put Sobolewski in his place and bench Bak.

I was unimpressed with Bak in our friendly with Russia, and I think Saganowski is better at playmaking than Smolarek.

I agree Bak wasn't very impressive. I would like to see Gargula in the starting line up, but any other midfield would work fine since we have a pretty decent midfield. With Beenhakker I'm pretty sure Zurawski will make a spot in the starter lineup if he is well.

Bear in mind that Garguła is just coming back from injury. I'm not sure he is ready for such a big game. As for Zurawski, Marcin79 wrote who we would like to see not who will play. I agree that Zurawski participation in the first game is a given.

Yes I have to agree that Gargula might not be in the best form with being injured for the whole summer basically, but he still has two games to play against Dnipro and Odra, if he shows that the injury isn't holding him back I would like to see him play.

That depends on the formation and strategy Leo will use as well as what form Zurawski is in.

Well for the game against Portugal I would put 4-4-2 formation and have

    Boruc

    Wasilewski Dudka Zewlakow Golanski

    Smolarek Krzynówek Lewandowski Błaszczykowski

    Matusiak Żurawski

And I wonder why did leo not pick jelen yet for national team he is a very good player I would pick jelen over Rasiak Any day. And Iwanski should play national games as well for i have seen him play many games for lubin as for gargula he needs at least another 2 months to get to his good form from that injury and than he should be a starter

Re: Poland at Portugal (8/8) and Finland (8/12)

    I will tell you why,

    1. He's hurt, he has back problems.
    2. He refused a call up when he was healthy in 2006.

Also keep in mind Jelen plays on the wings, we already have several players that can do this job and do it better then Jelen, Beenhakker does not see Jelen as a striker period.

Also about Bak, he has back problems as well and wont be participating against Portugal and Finland games.

For Strikers we got Zurawski, Matusiak, Smolarek and Rasiak; it's all about the Zgrupowanie I don't make the tactics Leo does that it all depends on the health and form of the players.

Absolutely need to beat the Finns. A draw with Portugal would be ok. 4 points would have us looking real good to go through

The first 15 - 20 minutes will tell the story, if we can survive the initial attack from Portugal who will likely try to rebound from the draw with Armenia in a big way, we should be ok.

I hope they kill Portugal as well, I have a personal vendetta against these people in my community. I tried to give them a chance I really did, but I didn't get to meet one upstanding individual that could represent them. So I did my part in trying to be nice and accepting of their culture but they refused kicking and screaming.

Zloic im dupe az im sie popali!!!!

It's 0-0 right now for Finland and Serbia is actually good if we can get a point against Portugal
