Just wanted to send a big thank you to Mike (KGDG2005) for going thru such great lengths to make sure everyone was sorted for the game in TO, and delivering tickets to 10+ hotels around town, and waiting for my late ass at the gate. Thanks to BBBulldog for pointing me in the direction of this forum (and just in the nick of time, too). I had a great time meeting so many DC fans, and enjoyed playing 'tour guide' to quite a few of u. Made some good friends today, that's for sure, and I got some great pictures! (will post them later, its almost 5am now!) My non-soccer girl friends (who came on a last minute whim) also had a blast with our group, and perhaps they will be new long-distance United fans? Was awesome to receive a text msg from my friend in Fairfax who said he saw me on TV! Wicked! P.S. Sorry for calling David 'Mike' in the above post. It was nearly 5am when I wrote that, had a long day, and had been spending the whole night hanging out w/some guys from DC, 1 of them named Mike, and obviously got a little confused there...
The Bachelor party was a success, and everyone had a blast. For some, it was their first soccer game and all they talked about was how fun it was and how it was the best sporting event they ever attended.

I'm glad everyone got their tickets and had a good time. For most road trips, the ticket situation isn't nearly this difficult - Thank God! Good job to everyone who went. You did a fine job representing DC United and Screaming Eagles.
This being my first SE related road trip I thought the handling of the tickets went very well. A great job was done by all involved. Mine were waiting for me when I arrived at my hotel..........at 3:45 am Saturday .

Shawn - glad you enjoyed your first SE trek... don't worry we had to wake some of the hotel staff up in the middle of the afternoon as well just to drop the tickets off!!! It was great seeing so many new faces on such a trip, I was surprised as I was expecting only the grizzled vets to make it up. It is tremendous to see new folks jump right into the spirit of things!
