Yet another gay Republican whipping it out in public. This is an epidemic with Right wing moralists.

He did a pretty good job keeping it private for a couple months. Of course he has a lame excuse.

The log cabin just keeps getting bigger. Im waiting for Fox to express outrage at the do-nothing judge refusing to advance the prosecution of child predator Mark Foley. I guess some indignation, like some homosexuality, is purely situational, Right Bill O'Really?.

I couldn't possibly be happier about this. The guy I worked for (who is a total scum-bag, piece of shit which is why I quit) had two "big shot" friends in DC. One was Jack Abramoff, the other was Larry Craig.

Looks like someone is going to have to find some new inside guys!


Now, as for the actual story. What is the deal with bathrooms? I've been in some pretty crazy places and I've never had anyone try anything, nor did I ever feel like it was an environment that was condusive to that sort of behavior. Maybe I'm just going to the wrong bathrooms or something.

One of the people I know who first told me about Craig worked for the Idaho Statesman.

It was a kind of standing hushed policy to not bring it up (his homosexuality; not this specific story). Besides how terrible something like that is for journalism period, for the story to be broken like this makes them look even worse.

To all Republicans:

I suggest you use the restroom for its intended use. Good lord, get a room. There is nothing wrong with being gay but can we please leave the public restrooms to their intended purpose?

So the Minnesota media would know to check the court docket for conduct by all members of Congress? It's not as if this guy was well known in Minnesota.

They have sources in the police community, and it's just highly unusual for them not to get a "hey, you'll never believe who we picked up" call on this.
