Dissapointing result but not a dissapointing effort. Roma is a REALLY good team It's unfortunate to lose 2-0 at home but Palermo look strong and they still should have a good season. Some great chances, I am very impressed with Miccoli.

Palermo looked strong in the 2nd half, the way they played I thought they were going to tied or win.

I thought the performance was very good in the second half. I really hope we don't sell Bresciano now because when he came on he played a huge part in raising our game, making good covering tackles while still being creative going forward and getting chances on goal. Hopefully Colantuono will start with Migliaccio over Guana next time, because Guana really didn't impress me at all. He was supposed to anchor midfield with Simplicio, but Simplicio was doing all the work and the Roma players just seemed to be going straight through Guana. Migliaccio came on and started making tackles and freed up Simplicio to be more creative.

I thought Simplicio's free kicks were very good too, we got alot of chances when he floated the ball into the box. Barzagli was a rock at the back, he looked like he had a whole new mindset as captain, reallly marshalling everyone at the back and making some very important challenges. He also moved into midfield a couple of times with the ball and offered a new dimension to his game. Miccoli and Amauri were good as well, though Amauri didn't look like he was at full sharpness (but made some very good runs anyway). What bothered me about the pairing is that people were aiming crosses at Miccoli instead of Amauri, and Amauri drifted to the left too much. Amauri should be the one using his height and strength to win balls in the air and use them to play on Miccoli. Cavani was Cavani, very good going forward, never looked tired and was enthusiastic. He seemed a bit wasted played where he was, but you can tell that he's going to be a big player for us in the future. Rinaudo also had a decent debut.

Bresciano, Cavani, and Migliaccio all looked much better than the players they replaced.

The back was a bit shaky but Pisano was replaced with Capuano at the last minute.

Fontana looked a bit slow on that second goal unless his vision was completely obstructed.

Adding Bresciano and Cavani in the second half was a great move and it almost paid off several times. Cavani is an U20!? That guy is good!

I am so glad I had the chance to watch this match on Sopcast. It was a great game. Losing 2-0 is never good, but Palermo looked good, especially in the second half. It seems they just ran out of ideas near the end of the game.

Roma looks to be a very solid team this year.

Cavani is an incredible talent and an amazing discovery by Palermo. I'm glad you saw the match, Palermo is usually one of most exciting teams to watch. And Roma looks like the new Juventus really.

All I got to say about Palermo is "Wow!" I feel bad your guys couldn't score. I will definitely be watching more Palermo games this season.
