Are you kidding me. I am watching the game now,it is a pain to watch them play. Can Galaxy hire some part time player?... They look awful. This Martino dude shouldn't be playing soccer. They all look bad.

It truly is embarrassing. Anyone watching this game has to feel just a touch bad for Beckham, because these are the guys he is going to have to go to war with for the rest of the season ....... and they suck.

By the way, has their been any confirmation that Yallop was actually asked to turn in his resignation? Or confirmation that Juergen was actually offered the job?

Any idea why he didnt make the trip?

Colorado is having their way with L.A.

    3-0 at the half.

Probably, they are resting anyone of value that they can spare for that Superliga final. It is the only thing that can redeem this pathetic season for the Galaxy......I sure hope to high hell that such a fate never happens to the Revs once Nicol goes

Galaxy will lose the SuperLiga final, and when that happens I am going to throw my head back and have myself a long, good laugh. Seriously. All that money spent with nothing to show for it.

OK I don't have a video feed, but I've been looking at the box score and it sounds pretty awful.
Isn't Donovan injured? I thought he picked up a knock in Sweden which is why he didn't start against Chivas.
Anyway, once Beckham and Donovan are properly fit you'll see a different team.
A decent defender might come in useful too.

Huh? Does he mean since Beckham has arrived because the Gals schedule was backloaded so that Becks would make more appearances in the later half of the season..

How about every team in top division football in Europe?
    How about DC and Houston?

DC will play no fewer than 43 matches this year, possibly over 50 if they do well in the playoffs and Copa Sud.
Houston will play at least 40 matches.

LA will play no more than 43, since there's no way in hell they make the playoffs.

Beckham and Donovan can't carry the team by themselves.

And no, Donovan is not injured.

he was referring to the recent late backloaded schedule - but still stop the excuses and go play ball, if LAG was hot and picking up points I wonder how they would field the questions about the schedule?

I like Landon and I agree it is tough for them coming down the stretch but enough is enough

I'm pretty sure Donovan meant more games in such a short period of time. No other team in the league is playing 2 games per week the last 2 months. I'll admit it might not have mattered what the schedule was with the team we had, but it certainly didn't help. I'm glad to see Becks can't make it to some of these away games. Hopefully it'll teach the league a lesson.

Pele said that when he came to the NASL he asked himself "what have I done?" I bet Beckham is crying in front of the TV right now and asking himself the same question. :D

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Heads will roll and LA will be a good team next year. If the ax isn't swung from the top soon, Beckham will make it clear that he came to win, not to be humiliated. I have no doubt LA will compete for the title next year.

This is the same colorado team that beat NE last week by the same scoreline. I don't see any of you calling them pathetic.
