yeah, I guess it's totally his fault for participating in that play that resulted in his injury:rolleyes:

  3. Hey Mikey I thought when Reyna didnt play we won? You crawled into your hole earlier this week when you were proven wrong. Where you been hiding?

Reyna was pretty good tonight. Not great, but certainly better than Mathis, who'd be worth the most scorn if not for Conway's horrendous gaffe.

It's incredible that if Reyna wasn't the man of glass that he is and doesn't get hurt, then Mendes does not come in. We would have walked out of there with a point.

Really? I think we had some pretty shocking defending at times. Reyna wasn't awful as a DM but he certainly didn't do anything going forward. He can't keep possession of the ball and he looks as uncomfortable as Vide. Mathis was more or less invisible but he had a couple of good moments.

Personally I don't think I would start Claudio if I were Bruce but then again I hardly agree with his decisions anymore.

Excellent point. I'm still too shocked to make the connection.

    Reyna

In defense, he got it for a takedown on Shalrie Joseph. :D
Now, if it had only been Twellman ... :D

    Re: Reyna

Taking down Twellman just seems redundant. He's always on the ground. He hits the ground more than the ball does.

I thought it was one of his better games too. He did some really nice one touch passes and broke up many offensive plays especially in the first half.

I agree. I thought Claudio was solid and in no way deserves criticsim last night. Give the guy credit when he steps up and plays well.

I'm not sure I understand here. Are you suggesting it's Reyna's fault Mendes and Conway screwed up? That because Reyna was on the bench after being subbed out, two players not named Reyna on the field made a crucial error?

I'll certainly do my best to explain.

It's certainly not Reyna's fault that he's a man of glass and can't go a full 90 ever. This game certainly beats the last one he played, where he lasted all of 20 minute (that's off the top of my head, I don't know exactly how long he played but it was somewhere near 20 minutes).

Again, it's not Reyna's fault. It's just our bad luck. If Reyna doesn't get hurt and finishes the game, then our team comes back from MA with a point. I could have said that even when he's not on the field, Reyna screws us - but I won't. ;)

We just can't play productively when sitting on a lead. Every single lead we acquire is followed by long stretches of total dominance by the opposing team. We all know Arena teams are like this, but I think it also speaks to a lack of leadership in the field.

Clint was neutralized entirely, and Joe Vide was just not enough. Dema might not have been, either. We badly need another attacking player in central midfield.
