[FONT=&quot]The New York Red Bulls announced today that they have signed midfielder/forward Francis Doe. To make room for Doe on the 28-man roster, midfielder/forward Santino Quaranta was placed on the team’s season-ending injury list. Doe will count as the team’s third youth international, joining Elie Ikangu (France) and Dane Richards (Jamaica), and he will be available for selection for the Red Bulls’ match against the New England Revolution tonight at Gillette Stadium at 7:30 PM ET

And what's worse, he was a bust even before signing with the Red Bulls. For all the savvy offseason moves Bruce made, every in-season deal he's done so far has been an abject failure.

Yeah, that Angel deal was a real disaster. Maybe LA will give us Buddle back if we offer up Angel and some draft picks.

Was signing Reyna one of those savvy offseason moves you're talking about?

No, what I know is that people are very quick to heap criticism on Bruce. So quick, that they don't think about what they type before they type it. Thus, the comment above.

Dunivant, maybe a bad move. Wynne, GOOD move...GOOD...prove to me that it's bad. Freeman has taken his position, and taken it well.

Do a Wikipedia search on Reyna . . look at his career goals scored. Goals were not the reason he was brought over here. If you thought otherwise, then wow.

Terrible. On the Stoke City m/b, I was "talking" with a Stokie in Canada who's also a Toronto fan. He LOL'd me when I brought up the Dunivant/Goldthwaite trade; said they were glad to see the back of him :(

Back to the main topic. How can Doe be of less use than Quaranta? What was The Bruce thinking when he brought Quaranta in? I'm sure he'll be offloaded at the end of the season.
