I was just about to post this but I wanted to get corroboration. The Express article doesn't cite a source.

Given that Arsene is the most important person on the team, doesn't 3 million seem a little light? Good news, though, if true.

And I'm about to be really pissed at Domenech. Where's he get off insisting that Gallas be treated by the French National team staff?

Still, if such a thing exists, this is a positive rumor.

    1) It's the Express

    2) There is not a single quote on the story, only quotes re Gallas.

    3) It's the Express

    4) Anything concrete will be on Arsenal.com first as always

    5) It's the Express

    Just saw this on Soccernet.

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=455942&cc=5901

That quote seems both reassuring and worrying.

Well his attitude has always said that he wants to re-sign. It wouldn't surprise me if he did the one-year rolling contract thing that SAF has been doing with Man U, seems to be working well so far.

Henry is going to feel like a real idiot sitting on the barca bench this weekend, reading the sports page seeing Wenger signed a new contract.

I really don't think so. He's in Barcelona, away from his estranged wife, banging 19 year old Catalan girls, laughing all the way to the bank.

Will his sciatic injury cause problems here? That'd be kind of funny if it did, seeing as he's a Barca player now.

Now obviously money is very important in probably 95% of contract dealings. However it seems that money creeps into any article that involves Arsenal. The vibe that i get as well makes it sound more like Hill Wood is concerned not with the weekly wage but the total amount of money we would have to pay AW for his contract. Maybe its just me, i dont know. However what i do know is that we need to pay this man whatever it is he wants to convince him to stay here for a couple more years.

It would be funny if during the time AW is here (ohe lets say 3 years) Keane becomes a very good manager then becomes Arsene's successor.

See, Mikey was saying what I was thinking, yo!

Still no confirmation of the AW rumor that I can find.

I also really see no problems in making Keano manager. Hell, we saw Twattenham take George Graham after we'd squeezed all the life out of him... :D
