I've had this problem - what's happened is that the loading finishes under the last post, and the quick reply box doesn't load. Therefore, you can click the quick reply button, but there's no quick reply box to post in. Are you finding that as well?
Me three! My skin that is listed on my "my options" page or whatever is the Big Soccer DC United skin, but it is using the new Big Soccer skin that I gave up on the day after the change. Thx, Jay!
If you right click,k you can see the full image. Large images were screwing up layout. It was a bug. Fixed. Hmmn...
Still amazed at how rude some people are. Question: did something with the default left navigation change in the last day or two? All of a sudden when clicking on the forum I want it was taking me to a kicks listing instead of a forum listing. Not a big deal once I figured it out (kicks/forum tab at the top), but I have to imagine more people, when using the navigation, are looking for forum listings, not kick listings.
Nope, nothign changed. If you are in the kicks tab, it always takes you to a kicks list. If forum, then same just forums. If you click the FLIP button, it keeps your current category and changes the tab.
what do you mean if you right click you can see the full image? you mean by copying the src and pasting it in a browser address bar?
What insults?....the comments are directed at the new look of BigSoccer, not at you. Many (most?) of us don't like the new skin and are frustrated that you don't seem to be do anything to address that. I know this was a bug in this instance, but at times it almost seems like you're trying to force us to use the new look. Give us a BigSoccer Gold or some such Classic skin back and I don't think you'll see these comments anymore.
Thanks - working now. As to insults, unless you personally designed the default skin (in which case, I really do suggest a change of career) I don't see how I can have been insulting. In any case - as someone else said, offer "Bigsoccer Classic" or whatever and you're home and dry anyway. Old stick-in-the-muds like me can just switch back to what we like. Glaring white and "oh-so-web2.0" shiny button bevels just aren't for me. Although for what it's worth I do find the ability to switch from club scheme to club scheme mildly diverting. I'm currently enjoying the grey/red of the New York Redbulls. I shall perhaps have a team a week or something. Do they have anyone good? Last I heard Donadoni was still playing there.
maybe the insults arent completely needed, but its pretty much a given that the style needs a lot of improvement.
I've been complaining about the skins, so I figured it was only right that I come in here and say thank you for doing something about them. Thank you for doing something about them. That being said, I still have to offer my constructive criticism....I will continue to use the MLSnet skins because the layout of the new style is too cluttered and doesn't look good to me at all....but at least it's now usable (ie you don't go blind trying to use it). I was hoping for a skin that went back to the old layout/format like the MLSnet skins do but with the rep/who's-online buttons, etc. back in place (they're not there in the MLSnet skins). Anyway, thanks for the grey skin so we don't go blind using the normal one.
That's how you tell it's locked. ========================================================== Thanks for the new gray skins but is there any word on a skin without the vivid red? It's really a problem at work.
Word on the premie board is that they're still working on this. I already noted the red and gold there as something to change (along with some other stuff).
I don't get the colour scheme. On one hand they have the bright white with light greys and blues, on the other they have saturated reds and golds. Then they've tried to combine the two together. The result is a disaster to the eyes. A note to the admins: GET A PROPER, COMPETENT DESIGNER. Hell it doesn't even have to be a professional. Just someone who can recognise a background that burns the retinas, or a colour scheme that looks like the product of someone who's just discovered MS Paint and HTML. And I've just sobered up enough to see those grey boxes behind the comments, so I can clearly distinguish them for the rest of the page. If I squint for about five minutes.
