So use the drow down at the bottom of the page. The navitagation tool was added as a third (fourth?) way to navigate.
It occurs to me that the arrangement of the New Reply and New Thread buttons looks really bad ... Put them one above the other or put them next to each other. The staggering looks amateurish -- like there was a lack of attention to detail in the design of this site.
Q about images...there's a size limit now and are they supposed to get distorted like that? or is it a bug. Either way, IT SUCKS.
what is up with the line between the user name/all that stuff and the actual post? looks strange and obtusive. i'd prefer it be gone!
I actually like it. We just need widescreen and it wouldnt look as bad although i just made a long post and it did look wierd I agree Id prefer color diferentiation instead. like shades of gray.
I think you need to increase the buffer between the text and that new line dividing the avatar/username from the post. Just a couple pixels. Looks cramped right now. Or ditch the line and just make the avatar/username area a darker color - like the other gray that's commonly on this sit as a background. It would serve the same purpose. (Like Chiquitibum just said.)
i think it looked obtrusive to me because there is someone on the Arsenal forum with a rather long screen name and the line on this posts don't line up with the other posts
There we go, grey/white to distinguish posts/user info and threads. now we need a grey to wrap everything up, like on the grey shade border of a whole thread and threads, depending on whether your viewing posts or thread listing
I've still got the grey background for the posts. Also, sorry if this has been mentioned before, but is there an issue with pages not fully loading? Using Firefox and IE I am continually experiencing issues where it says it has "done" loading, but only shows the header and the menu down the side, the whole area where the content of the forum/thread should be is white. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 refreshes to get it to show, and it's happening to me on both my home PC and my work PC - have tried IE and FF on both. Any ideas, or is this just me? I'm using the default skin by the way.
I'm guessing a lot of people complained about having to download and view very large images, which in turn, messed up the way the posts were lined up. Why not shrink without distorting, and make a thumbnail to the original size image? You could still click the image to view it as originally intended, but at the same time, not be forced to download some 1168x1024 sized image.
Ditto for me on a Mac with Safari and Firefox. And where's the Soccer365 skin gone? It was the only one that wasn't so horrible it made me retch in my sleep, hours after last seeing it. The default design is arguably the worst thing I've ever seen on a website. And I've been to that website that shows prolapsed rectal tumours.
WTF?! I've been using the MLS skin since the changes and now it seems I'm stuck with the crappy new skin you guys have switched to. No matter what skin I try to choose I end up with the new default skin. I hope this is temporary....as I see that there's a new option (BigSoccer Premium)...but it's really frustrating to not be able to switch away from this horrible default skin!
same here. I can't change from the default skin. I prefer the old gold skin but have been using the MLS skin. The default skin is far and away the worst. Cluttered and very difficult on the eyes.
And another thing: the Quick Reply button appears to have stopped working. I have to click "New Reply" or "Quote" to add a message to any thread. OSX 10.4.10, Firefox 1.5.2
