TSI wouldn't be producing the EPL Preview Show this early, so this must be something different.

This is the email I sent to FSC and I wanted to share it with the group because I know it's of interest to many.
Keep in mind the opinion I expressed below about the announcers is actually not true - I was just being kind to get a response. I share everyone's opinion about the FSC announcers, especially Christian Miles who should not be anywhere near a mike.

I'll post the reply when I get one.

<I have a couple of questions about programs on FSC.
    1. When is the next new season of Dream team will be starting?
    2. I understand that FSC has aquired the English Language rights to the Italian Serie A. what will FSC be doing about the announcers? will you be using their own announcers as last year, or will you be using the on-site announcers? Nothing against the FSC guys they do a good job -but I do prefer listening to on-site coverage.>

Does anyone know what happened to channel 613 (FSC) on Direct TV? I noticed that the channel is not available anymore. Did Direct TV drop it?

Working fine here. In fact they're showing a repeat of the Fire-Celtic friendly. Did you lose your whole sports pack?

the conversation above reminded me of something...How DISH doesn't have FSC in their sports package is beyond me. I would be able to save a lot more like that.

    Any thoughts on this?

I think that's the reason they don't. I'm in the same boat. I'd get a cheaper overall package and the sports package if that would work, but then I'd be sending dish less $$, which they certainly wouldn't like.

Nick Webster said on WSD on last Wednesday or Friday that FSC will be providing the Serie A Game Commentary from LA. He said something about how the feed is provided from the syndicator in Italy and how the breaks are set up coming in and out of half times that they have to use broadcasters from the States to make it a seamless production. Look at it this way if you don't care for Bretos he probably will miss at least 1 Sunday a month if he is still doing WWE as from what I understand even if you aren't being used in front of the camera they still want you to be at TV. One Sunday Night a month they do their PPV and I am pretty sure he has to be at it.

What is the deal with The FSR being relegated to the 1am slot while Sky Sports News has been airing in the FSR normal spot of 10pm to 11pm? Sky Sports has been airing at this time a couple times recently and just struck me as weird. Is there live coverage of something over on Fox Sports Canada that FSR is being delayed until whatever coverage they have on is over?

Rubbish -- Just keep your talents (Lack thereof) far away from the EPL games as possible and all will be just fine..

Bet these guys cant keep their pants on just thinking about how often they will have to educate those daft audiences about Juve especially when they not playing. Oops - Forgot about Inter and Milan.. cant wait to hear it all from you..

    What a joke..

The Premier League World is not replacing the Premier League Preview Show. The Premier League Preview show returns next Friday August 10th at 7:30 pm Eastern time. The Premier League World show has a varying timeslot at the moment. Next week it is on Thursday Night August 9th at 8 pm Eastern time. Hopefully it can get a set time so it's easier to catch. I enjoy both shows very much and love the inside look of the footballers lives. For example, the Steve Sidwell segment was very good. I came away from that show liking him a lot more than I did before watching it. Same with Craig Bellamy and so on. And then the Premier League Review Show returns Sunday night August 12th at 8 pm Eastern time. So all three shows will be weekly as far as I know. I hope that helps.

^^^ Yeah, I thought Sidwell seemed like a nice guy.

So Premierleague World will be on throughout the season?

Seamless production? Fox Soccer Channel? The network that apparently employs 4-year-olds as producers (judging by the "seamless productions" already airing on FSC.)

I just hope FSWEsp will also air the Serie A matches so I can avoid the plague-like on-air "talent" of FSC.

Serie A is going to be a nightmare to watch. Hudson and co. are horrible and FSC is worse imo. At least GOL would use an international feed anouncer once in a while, hopefully FSC does as well.

When FSC did their latest Serie A they sound so distant and detached from the game. Amateurish.

Mediocre to say the least.. Just cant understand the rationale behind using these "talents"..

With Setanta and Deportes making it to virtually every home that cares about it, in no time this discussion will be forgotten..

Definately. It's good to see some of the footballers we watch on TV every week in real life. Very nice family. I'd like to see more of the features like that in the future. Another good one was the golf outing with Reading. "Lefty" being on Kevin Doyle's shirt made my day. Very good show and I look forward to more in the future.

And as far as I can see, the Premier League World show will continue thoughout the season. FSC's website shows it being on in the upcoming months. As well as Premier League Classics which is a half-hour show, I'd assume highlights of classic games. I think it's something like Southampton v Oldham this weekend from 1973(not sure of the date). Should be interesting.

Both tonight and last night SSN was not aired in the normal time, 7 pm EST. Instead, on both nights, it appears that highlights of the Asian Cup are showing. Both the online FSC schedule and the schedule on DirecTV say SSN at 7. What gives?
