    We play New England thursday.
Last game until we come home on the 19th... against New England.

    Jose is back.
Skip the rest of the analysis.

Will the Embassy Bistro be hosting a watch party?

If we can't grab at least a draw on this New England could be well on the way to running away with the conference.

Lets' hope Heaps and Reis look as good this time around as they did in the previous game against us. :D Let's just not spot them a two goal lead this time, k? I would love to see a near duplicate as the previous game up there, especially on ESPN. Can't wait to hear Wynalda talk it up.....wait, where was that mute button again?

We normally play pretty well in NE so lets hope that continues and we pick up 3 more points while looking good on national tv. I would guess we swap Raybould with Jose and stick with the same starters as last nights game against Chivas.

September 7, 1999 ... that's the last time the Revs won at home against KC (3-2). Ouch.

Should be an interesting game, and a battle for first place in the East currently. As far as I know, our team's healthy (well, as much as it has been) and no one's in card trouble.

Looking forward to this one. And looking forward to seeing you guys out there on the 19th. :)

well, i mean, we could lose there and win at home and we'd be back in the same place. but oddly, it's more likely to go the other way around since new england's home record is worse than their away record. and actually, i would prefer that to two draws because hopefully it would do a tiny bit to separate both teams from the rest of the conference (for playoffs sake) in case NY or DC should go on a winning streak.

i'm not going to make any speculation about either of these matches, we're just going to have to see what happens. i am wondering if it's going to be the kind of shootout the last one (4-3) was.

    Not sure...

I need Cauldron regulars to tell me (PM is fine) if you're planning on being there or not... There's a reason for that...

I was going to attend the watch party, but I forgot that I promised a friend that I would watch the next game broadcast in HD at his place.

So all of you who I told I would be there...I lied. :)

i'm so torn...the Revs are my all time favorite team, but Jimmy Conrad is my all time favorite player...what's a girl to do?

Maybe I'll wear my Noonan jersey and keep my Conrad jersey in my bag, waving it discretely from time to time at the game. Either way, this is one of the most exciting games of the season for me! :D

Lemme rephrase that... since this is the payoff from completing the Embassy's import challenge, there is free beer involved. There's a limit of 20 people, so that's why I need the list.

You might want to bring money for food or at least a designated driver. I don't want/need anybody getting hurt.

So that's 17 people plus the 3 of us who passed the challange.

I've got my DD. I knew Gord would eventually become useful. :)

If there's any MLS fans in Scandinavia this will be the first live MLS match on Viasat Sport who will start showing the MLS about twice a week. At least here in Sweden it'll be on Viasat Sport 2 at 01.00 CET

They picked a great game to start MLS coverage. These are the two top scoring teams in the league with several members of the US National Team on both sides.
