I think it's another case of an uber rip-off considering they had a white away kit last season. Grrr at money grabbing teams

They had to put a collar on it otherwise it would have looked just like last seasons away shirt.

Why do they feel the need to release 3 new kits every seasons. Its not like they even need the money!!

They don't NEED three kits. If you pick your away jersey colours astutely you never need two jerseys. Some people just make you wonder about their choice of shirts - EG West Brom. Home kit blue and white stripes. Away kit white. WTF? Surely you would wear the away kit as it clashes with the white on the home kit?!

and maybe they need 3 kits but they certainly dont need 3 every year...chelsea could keep wearing their all black strip and never have a problem clashing with anyone, ever

but its the same with tottenham, they rip us off with 4 this year, 3 last year...if they had just kept their brown strip, they wouldnt have clashed with anyone, EVER

Now I'm not being biased saying this, but the Spurs kits for this season really are poor. The yellow kit is very plain and looks like a plain cheap t-shirt because of it's lack of edging/piping. The blue kit meanwhile would have looked better if it was not shiny, while the shiny writing on the home kit turns it into a cheap fake looking kit from the 90's.

I quite like the Chelsea 3rd.

I'm just wondering when any of you geniuses are gonna post the third of Chelsea's three new kits this season? OH WAIT, THEY'VE BOUGHT OUT TWO NEW KITS NOT THREE. Retards.

Chelsea have brought out the same number of new kits this season as your team, United.

Skizz - Arsenal have brought out 2 new kits this season. One of them is absolutely disgusting and will probably be used about 3 times all season.

Chelsea has the blue from last year, then this year they released the white as their 3rd kid and they are using that awful neon green/yellow as their away.

I'm not debating teams bringing out new kits being the issue - I am one of the people who have said Arsenal's third/"European" kit (what a joke it will be if we lose the CL qualifier) is probably the most pointless and crap we have seen. What I'm saying is all teams nowadays bring out too many kits. A lot of them you don't even get a year out of - teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool make a killing off it and they need to bring in stricter rules. EG, if a team uses a shirt that will blatantly need a third shirt to cover it (IE Arsenal having a red/white home kit, a white away kit and having to play Sunderland) they should stop them producing it.

And you're a Tottenham fan in another country... what's your point? You must be about the tenth person to bring this up in my time on BS. Big whoop, I moved to Manchester. Maybe I like Manchester (I love it, actually). That doesn't change where I came from or my family's football heritage.

I'm annoyed because Chelsea are one of many clubs who have this season brought out two new kits, making a total of three kits, yet THEY are the one who gets most openly criticised.

skizz - 1. if people act retarded, I'll say so. If that deserves a warning or a ban, so be it. I'd rather not bend over backwards to accommodate idiots, but if that's your thing, then who am I to argue?

Also, I agree with you that too many clubs bring out too many kits, including Chelsea. Tottenham have FOUR this season. That's more than they can use!

fair enough, i agree with most of what your saying...the only reason we critisized chelsea was because their new kit came out today, we've done this in the past about manchester united, and i'll be the first to complain about tottenhams stupid marketing people

I've heard that the Cl has rules/guidelines for uniforms (ie the numbering on the back) but i've also heard something about a rule that is intended to prevent teams from releasing a new jersey every year. Does anyone know the actual rule in regards to releasing new kits and/or length of time a team must keep a kit?
