Then that means you should have been shunning him all along.

Again, you're seriously going to tell me that the Greek League is that much superior to the Ukranian League?

    Well, money talks.
Shaktar isn't such a bad team anyways, they go to champions
(very exciting to watch last year they nearly got out of group stages)
and they have some international players like El ano.

They also recently picked up a pretty good forward from serie a.

Its really funny, a lot of people on here are upset because european teams don't value mexican players the way they should. And then when one team does come around and pay more than any other team is willing to pay, they bitch.

It seems like people want him to go a to a team that doesn't value him. Or worse they want him to stay at a team that really, really doesn't value him.

    I don't get it.

If one team is offering an exhorbitant amount more than another team I don't know why he wouldn't go. They guy is about to have a child, he's gotta think about his future. Soccer players are one injury away from it all being over, give the guy a fackin break. A wise man once said, "Don't hate the player, hate the game." And that's all Nery's doing playing the business side of the game.

    1 its done deal.

2 Of course it is.In Greece you have 3 strong teams and 4-5 very competent. In Ukraine there is only Dinamo Kiev and then Shaktar. You dont need to be a football expert to understand that.

Nery went with a cold heart there Olympiakos forced him so if he has real ambitions he would go next year from there.

Not really..There is a reason the Greek Champions automatically qualify for the Group Stage of Champions League, while the Ukrainian Champions qualify for the 3rd Round of Champions League.

Greek Champions qualify for Group Stage, Greek Runnersup qualify for the 3rd Round of Champions League.

The Holland league is the same as the Greek league to Champions league, the Holland Champions also qualify for the Group Stage, and the runnersup qualify for the 3rd round.

It seems that you dont know enough.Learn and then talk.

BoostedE55AMG thats right but i was not talking only about points here those things change easily imo Greek league is a second gear league in a group with the Dutch,Portuguese and closer to Turkey's dynamic. The common is that half of the teams are mediocre the other just good and you have 2-3 major teams.Holland and Portugal have more gifted players though plus some excellent academies and connection to Brazil for Portugal and other location for Holland like ex-colonies who produce players with real talent.Ukraine just have two big teams with rich presidents who fight alone every year in a low standard league. The same player who goes to Ukraine for 3 mil a year he could come to Greece or Turkey for just the half its a fact its not because i am Greek but some things are clear if you think.

Actually yes, but I was thinking next year. He's had somewhat of an emotional attachment to the team so him leaving Olympiakos might be good. I wish he had gone to Man City, they seem to be building quite a team. If he does in fact go to the Ukraine I doubt he'll stay there long. I wish him luck.

On the bright side Nerys Kid will most likely play for Mexico now, since he'll probably be born in Ukraine rather than Greece.

Pardos kid has been lost to the Germans already so I hope that kid sucks ass in the future. :)

I think the rule is that you can't wear three jerseys in one year.
