Continuation of the feedback thread to make it easier to catch up on the density of topics and move on from issues addressed.

Please take the following with a grain of salt. I realise that you are changing things quite alot over the last few days and over the next week. This was my first gut reaction this morning:

Yeah, I was hoping it was just a nightmare. BIGSOCCER now officially SUCKS.

Hey BIGSOCCER, wanna see what a GOOD message board looks like? Go here:

    Pittsburgh Penguins Message Board

The white background here is just TERRIBLE. If I wanted to stare at a white background, I would look at a word document.

Where is my location? Where is the club I support? Where is all the user information now??????

Where are the smileys for posts????? EDIT: Smileys seem to now be back.

Terrible interface, and rapidly becoming terrible message boards in general.

EDIT: Its gotten somewhat better, but I still want more color/ less white, and I want all the user information back by each posters name and avatar. I will give it a week or so, but if some things are not improoved upon to get us back to what it used to be, I cant seem me continuing to use bigsoccer much in the future. Ill try and be patient and see how things go though. And I do mean it about the Penguins Message boards. THey are easy on the eyes, nice to look at, and the layout is very easy to navigate.

EDIT II: Ive noticed that when I go back to the bigsoccer version, all the user information (except for post count) is back. Im really not sure why the user information (post count, join date, location, club pref...etc) was all taken away in the first place. I like having that information there.

    Still, way too much white.

I don't know if this was mentioned yet. You can't differentiate a link from regular text. Links should be a different color.

    Thx,

    Jay!

While there are many thinks that I really dislike about the new bigsoccer.com, I do appreciate that you guys have been responsive to complaints and made some changes already. The Name/Avatar correction was spot on.

Now if you could just get rid of this huge empty blank space and navagation bar that takes up half my screen...

Not sure what skin you are in. In BigSoccer links are blue. In MLS, they are controlled by MLS.

DC United skin. The links are all grey, same as the text.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Just to get it straight... do you now have to pay for the width that used to be used?

This is not really about the new BigSoccer but I thought it'd be nice if I could unsubscribe from multiple threads at once, instead of doing it one by one.

Character limits for PMs have been knocked down to 2200 from 5000? That's inconvenient.

There is a widescreen thread in the BSSC Customer service... Also I asked it on the BSSC thread here in this forum and received the answer of yes, they are looking into fixing this.

BTW - On the DC United Skin, the user information (i.e. location, club, etc) is not visible, nor does a poster have the ability to rep. Not sure if this a BS.com thing or the skin...

Already was a detailed explanation about the space and the expandable personalized nav bar.

When you kick a thread you're reading, only the counter at the top of the thread updates. The one at the bottom doesn't.

I posted it in the new thread, because it was at the very end of the old thread, there was no acknowledgement of it, and I did not want it to get lost.
