I don't see the point in calling Zinha, he isn't a difference maker, but I definitely consider him a Mexican. Guille...who? Nery, he was asked if he would celebrate a goal against Uruguay. He said, of course he would because they would celebrate a goal against Mexico...he's Mexican in my book. Giovani is Mexican...period.

Hmmm....Zinha definitely made a difference in the last Confederations and the last win against the USMNT. Zinha is a class act and a damn good football player. He is eligible by all written regulations. He has bought into the Mexican culture. He has a Mexican wife and his children were born in Mexico. Not sure what else he needs to do....get a blood transfusion?

Nah, but a time machine could probably do the trick.

Damn, if we had that, Hugo wouldn't be coaching....he'd be playing....

Funny you say that because Zinha should probably get ready for coaching very soon. He's definitely in the latter years/weeks of his career.

Well, if there is a drawback to his game it is definitely his propensity for injury. It seems to be getting worse lately. Let's see how this year goes. I think Hugo painted himself into a corner with his comments about Lavolpe prior to his selection so I doubt that any of the "naturalizados" will get much of a chance. Anyway, bed time BIGHigh. Later.

Los naturalizados won't get a chance because they aren't good enough not because Hugo made those comments

thats not true, if Bofo and Cua were good enough for the team, Zinha id good enough for the team.

Kikin, Bravo, Maza, Bofo are all "good enough" for the team right?

    Franco and Zinha aren't, because?

I really dont have that much of a problem seeing zinha called up, but Franco is just a piece of shit.

Well, Bofo is the only one that compares to Zinha in style and I consider than pretty even. Bofo is less consistent, but has the potential of doing something special. I like having Bofo on NT because he can provide a little magic, I just don't see Zinha making an impact. Yes, he played well for us in the past but I'm keen on seeing new, younger guys get thorwn into the mix.

i think Bravo should still be on the NT. he had a great Copa America and demonstrated that he is the type of player that plays great coming off the bench as a sub.

Because not only was Franco a merc, but he didn't do shit with the Tri except play 2 "good" games.

Zinha is alright but I wouldn't think of him superior to Bofo. There wouldn't be that much of a difference. They both play great one day and disapear the next.

Zinha is about the same level as Bofo, and for the people that are saying that he can take Cuau's position because of his age, what happened to Gio?
