yeah except Shao Jiayi is not a pure striker! he's more of a support striker/attacking midfielder. We need another finish up with Han Peng.

He's been crap lately and hopefully this will be a wakeup call, though I do think China needs to play with 2 strikers. I'm also more than a little surprised with the inclusion of Wang and Mao in the starting lineup. I was sort of expecting we'd see Zhao Xuri and Li Tie in the lineup. I think greenlion's prediction from yesterday is pretty much what the formation will look like, Zhou seems to be more of an attacking player, so having him sit back behind the striker and attacking mids doesn't seem the best for him, but that's a natural position for Tie Zi.

Whatever, it all comes down to what happens...can't wait for tonight...Don't want to gloat too much, but it was beautiful watching Japan only get a draw last night, let's hope we can get things done tonight!

All the results so far has been pretty surprising with the weaker team coming out ahead. Let's hope China will break this trend.

    Stupid Zhu.

Shao can't score a goal even if his life depended on it. Han Peng is a scavenger who is best playing alongside a creative guy like Dong Fangzhuo.

I have no idea why Zhu is fielding these two up front together. My guess is he either wants to use Dong as a secret weapon or Dong's fiery personality has gotten himself in trouble with coach, just as when Hao Haidong didn't get a long with Milu and Sun Jihai didn't get a long with Haan.

Among the three coaches, only Milu had the smarts to still use the player wisely.

Dong and Han playing upfront would be fantastic. But Zhu is too stupid to see that.

Well I watched the 1st half of Saudi and Korea - honestly Semi finals for us is not a far stretch - neither team looked very good. I'd even say that we can probably end the Korea losing streak.

Zhu haters might just have to wait a bit longer for his firing.

Seb - did you attend the China game with your media pass? Was it a fun experience?

nope i didn't attend i get the press pass but the price for the trip was a bit to expensive (around 3000 $ for stay with the fly) and i don't have this kind of money on me, but that is just ok with tv, next AC i will go. now the priority is to go to rotterdam and to go to beijing next year, so need to save all the money i can.
