    Here are some choices:

    1. Red Army
    2. Red Empire
    3. Red Faction
    4. Red Scare
    5. OTHER

If you pick other, then you must offer a suggestion or alternative.

Let's take this serious, guys. I believe in this you should too.

NOTE: Legion 1908, we are NOT trying to replace you. We just want something more diverse, that's all.

    Somos familia.

LOL...I guess we need rain in LA.

I voted for Red Army because it sounds more tough than the other names. I would also vote for "Red Nation" since we do have fans across the US. Or maybe something unique like "Soldiers of Red", "Red Soldiers" or Red Ants.

For the time being I'll stick with Red Army, but we may catch some flak from a few groups. First of all we may be labeled as a communist group. Our second criticism may come from Sam's Army, the U.S. Soccer supporters group.

Keep voting and coming up with names!

I personally like The Red Empire. It's a simple and catchy name without being too disposable, imo.. Red for our main color, empire for the inclusiveness and far reach of this new supporter group. The rest of the names ring of communism and Texas to me . keep the suggestions coming!

I went ARMY. EMPIRE is a very close 2nd. Isn't Red Faction an old video game?

Yes, there are RED ARMY supporters clubs already (MAN U, Adelaide / Australia, & Aberdeen FC / Scotland to name a few) in the world. But I have zero creativity so I say we steal the name.

And not to get too ahead of myself, but once we get the RED ( whatever ) out there, there can be sub-groups within. Huge banners are very cool, but I'd like to see a bunch of smaller ones flying too. Picture a huge RED ARMY hanging behind the South end ( Legion is North, Right? - I almost never carry a compass ) and several small banners flying or hanging within or above the sections. As long as they're RED, they fly. I bet we could recruit more RED supporters if we let them "represent" their own RED interests. OC RED's, LA RED faction, Montebello RED brigade, Valley RED Dogs, whatever...ALL within the RED ARMY section(s).

A simple website...... in which we steal the best ideas from other supporters groups, then gives CHIVAS USA supporters all over the country the info they need to become RED.

One last thought.... I don't want to see any of you guys wearing red pants. That's just wrong.

I dig the "Red" theme, and "The Red Empire" sticks out to me, but I'll throw out an idea.

Red Resistance, or just The Resistance

IMO, Red doesnt work with Chivas because the jersey is Red & White. Maybe if we had an all red uniform like Liverpool, but that is not the case. Anyways, all the names sound generic, it would be much better if you and your mates come up with something more original. Perhaps something that you can all identify with.. .

Its a little too long for my liking. We could always keep it simple and just use Chiva Army. I'll stay open to further suggestions.

How about The Legion of Doom? There is no red in it and gives us the connection to Legion 1908. Chivas Army works for me as well.

I do think Chivas needs to rebrand, firstly, to reflect the City they play from and secondly, a more embracing name to appeal to fans other than just Chivas supporters. Afterall, in Mexico Chivas made their reputation by only using Mexican players, whereas in the USA they have already moved away from this principal and rightly so.

    LA Latinos FC?

No offense, but I hope you're not serious with those names. They sound like gang names from the 80s to me. Harrrr

JUST MY OPINION but I think its best to stay heritage neutral. Lation or Mex anything is a bad idea, IMO. as is anything is spanish slang or otherwise. You need something race neutral so everyone feels welcomed(kinda)
