I think we'll look back on this tournament in a few years and be glad we did it.

the fireworks go off and everyone in Venezuela points and laughs at the gringos who still don't know how to play soccer.

    the end.

I'm shocked Davies got as little time as he did. But, we've got three years to figure it all out.

Much better in the second half when the fullbacks were allowed (or ordered?) to go forward.

Davies is another Johnson: fast but not good enough footskills to be effective.

PS: the Scandinavian leagues are NOT good preparation for international play.

I think CONMEBOL is on the horn with the Japanese Football Association.

I was less embarresed of losing 4-1 to Argentina or 3-1 Paraguay than that performance,

On a positive note, Nyugen and Davies hustled their butts off. Would of really liked to see them start that last game.

I'm still mad at Colombia for time wasting. The game meant absolutely nothing and they played like a bunch of girls. That being said, the US performance was dreadful, we couldnt pass the ball or create any offensive movement. That was an embarrassing performance. I cant think of one player that stood out today.

This one felt a lot worse than the other two. Nasty part about sending a developmental team is when you take out a couple of the guys who actually have a shot at being WC starters it gets really dire. Colombia were mostly bad, and we were mostly worse.

Worst 3 games I have ever watched. Promised I wouldn't watch tonight. Reminds of 98, except the excuses were built in beforehand. I never want to see an experimental lineup go to a major tournament again. What's worse, Colombia is an obviously crappy team. At least we sent scrubs. Ugh.

He's still got the Olympics, too. A better yardstick for where he's at now.
