hey guys mexico is doin great after todays win oover ecuador...does ne one know if there has been ne news where nery castillo will be playing next year i hope hes not in the greek league still because he should be playin in a better leauge

OSFP will sell him and the going price will be 10-12 million Euros. I doubt he will be with them at the start of next season.

There you go, most of the article talks about Marquez (including a pic of Marquez with "bronceado de taxista"), but at the end it says that AC Milan, Chelsea and Atletico de Madrid have asked about Nery. I don't recall on which thread or forum I read that a team from Ukraine had made an offer of 9 million euros to Olympiakos but apparently the Greeks are going to reject them. On an article from a Greek soccer web site they claim that Olympiakos doesn't want to sell him but if they receive an offer of 10 million euros or more they would be very tempted to sell the player.

Today during the Ecuador game one of the commentators of Azteca said that the contact with Chelsea is real, immediately another guy beagan to day dream and said that it would be very cool to have both Nery and Salcido with Chelsea. So let's wait and hope is all for the best, even if he stays with Olympiakos he'll be playing Champions League (even though they usually don't go beyond the group stage).

Shakhtar made an 8 million Euro offer which was straight rejected. Nery is signed for 5 years so he will not move from them for less than 10, probably 12 million. And I very much doubt he would leave Greece for Ukraine. He just got married and is expecting a child I would think he and his wife would want a better place to raise a child (no offence intended), alittle more "western".

 

Castillo's comment about a possible transfer:
"I would like to play in a more competitive league,but i have a contract with Olympiacos..."

 

Contracts are made to be bought out. If Juventus comes in and offers Olimpiakos a pile of money for Nery, I'm almost sure they would feel the same way.
