So I am late coming on here, but i extend my congratulations to all you Real fans. It was a rollecoaster/sloppy/incredible/etc. season to watch. Im glad you guys came out on top to change La Liga's scenery.

I screamed so loud when Diarra's goal went in, and then even louder when Reyes put his second away.:D

    Enjoy!!!!

Well, what a morning after the night before. :D
I didn't come on here after the game as my son and I were watching the celebrations on RMTV and waving our Madrid flags in the street...now that's father/son bonding. I was gonna take a drive through the streets with the car all flagged up but a bottle of wine put paid to that idea.
What a game...absolutely awful 1st half...everything that was wrong with Madrid was evident in that half, but once again sheer will to win overcame our deficiencies and we turned it around.
As you all know I have been championing JAR since he arrived and tonight he showed what he is capable of...we have shown patience with other players this season and we MUST do the same with him. He has to be here next season.
I thought Salgado had a good game as well, and wish him all the best for the future.
What a night, what a season and thank you to you all for sharing it with me.

One of the best things about this title victory, is that it wasn't tainted by any controversy....no questionable penalties, cards, or dubious free kicks taken...no silly handballs or anything of the sort...just pure heart and soul, spirit of champions who have in one day excercised so many forms of demons...its now like a fresh start for the club, which for us newer fans is fantastic...glad I was here for the turning point..No one can dispute this result, they just have to accept it, and respect it...great stuff, I'm still so happy tonight!!

CAMPEONES, CAMPEONES, OE, OE, OE, CAMPEONES, CAMPEONES, OE,OE,OE, CAMPEONES, CAMPEONES, OE, OE, OE, ...........!!!!!!!!!!!

i haven't slept tonight. I celebrated the title in Bernabeu, in La Cibeles, and in a undetermined number of "Bares" ......... Now, i am at work but incredibly happy :) .... playing the Real Madrid hymn in my PC and with a RM scarf over the monitor :).

This title is for the players and for the madridistas around the world that have supported the team even in the worse moments.

    HALA MADRID!!!!!!

Note: Atletico has finished seventh (their celebrated 6-0 defeat against Barcelona haven't helped Barcelona to win la liga, and has helped Atletico to play intertoto :)). Great.

    Great post MadridForever.

What a night i just wanna start by saying thankyou to the Team and Capello. Well when Victor hit the post within 40 secs i was like oh no please. I thought we looked very nervous at the start we were just settleing in. And then mallorca scored. I really thought it was over when ruud went of as well. Second half was ace we played a lot better and got the goal we deserved. Reyes was ace great header for diarra great stuff. Reyes 3rd goal was amazing. I will play El Himno on the jukebox at work today

I was so scared when Ruud has to be sent off last night but wow we did it!!!!! HALA Madrid!! CAMPEONESSSSSS!!!!!!

The stadium was rather quiet and the team looked a bit nervous initally but the whole staidum went absoutely crazy after Reyes scored!! We were jumping up and down, shouting, and high-fiving to each other. Since then, the whole stadium when crazy and I knew we could have won this game!

After the whistle was blowed, the lights turned off and everyone was waving a silver card and the whole stadium was shinny in the dark. Crowd sang and players dances around. It´s beautiful, just like a dream!

Wikipedia has an interesting detail about Eto'o:

    wiki quote

    Club career

Eto'o is notorious for his alleged fondness of ballet too-too's, often showing up to Barca's games wearing a full ballet outfit.

I honestly think he just heard the word "campeon" and wanted the fans to sing louder - that's it.

La sexta showed the sevilla game, RM game was on canal+ here in spain.

I however do agree, i would like a torrent with spanish commentators.

I propose that for next season we have a torrent sticky thread like farca does on their forum.

Yes, after the equilizer the whole team was in very high spirits. remember that moment when Reyes brought down a Mallorca player with rather a brutal foul (for which he got a yellow) and Salgado hi5-d him.

I have little sympathy for Samuel Eto'o. So long as he remained at Barcelona when we won a trophy this was an inevitable outcome. When he had his little rant the first time they won it he disrespected an entire club. Instead of revelling in his teams triumph he choose to insult us. I'm glad that those who were at La Cibeles can testify it was Eto'o that was insulted at not Barcelona. If we were singing "Barca cabron etc" then we would have been no different. However, we were simply giving Eto'o a dose of his own medicine. The difference is that when we win trophies we want to celebrate OUR clubs success as opposed to our rivals downfall.

In God's honest truth, I had actually forgotten about Barcelona amidst the frantic 20 minutes which saw us complete another remontada. It wasn't until Mark Bolton said "lets not forget about Barcelona" to which I responded...who? :D

Could please anyone explain to me what this Samuel Etoo's chant is all about , as if you were explaining to a 2 year old..This seems to be too far and expansive in its scope but beyond my comprehension.. .
