As I was trying to TIVO the game I realized it is not on ESPNDeportes. At least not here in the SF Bay area. However, the game is being broadcast on Canal Uno.

supposedly we will get our coach this month so I'd have to guess that we'd play on the FIFA days so that he can get a feel for our players

not related to friendlies but I don't know where else to put it...

I knew it was too good to be true. I head that Bollio was taking his place. WTF. I had hopes now I want to nuke FEF.

here we have a prefect candidate who is Ecuadorian and has his herat in the right place and has the skills to beat win the Panamerican cup in Brazil. He debut for the WCQ was more than impressive. Would not it be wise to give him another chance? I can't belive how Fooking backwards FEF are. We had a Sh!T coach who lost how many gmes in a row?
Suarez remained out coach because we were losing. Now look out, here comes Sixto Vizuete. Got a great resume and won 5-1 in his debut. Guess what, he's out.
Does any of t this any Fkcing sense?

    Bolillo?!!!!!!!!!...???

    WTF

    Re: Ecuador friendly matches 2008

I agree with most of your post but I think the 5-1 win had more to do with the players wanting to win very, very badly than Vizuete's tactics as manager.

Are you trying to say that our NT did not want to win "very badly" before so they chose to lose very badly?

I disagree. Vizuete is a technician and a chess player unlike ********** phace Suarez.

Vizuete made it public a while ago that although he considered it an honor to be even thought of as the DT for the seleccion that he wanted to stay with the younger players for a few more years and build more experience before assuming the NT coach spot...in any case, FEF hiring Bolillo is simply out of laziness because there are a helluva lot of good coaches out there in the market right now waiting to be courted by national teams...The problem with the seleccion stems from the ineptitude of those in leadership position out at the Federacion and before we can take some real steps forward, we have to sack the president and the old guard there which still wants to keep the status quo, a big shake down is needed. Bolillo will be a big mistake for our long run fortunes

I guess I am angrier that we regressed to the king of negativity, Bolillo. I do not see hope for 2010. We will win some games but not enough to qualify but enough o make all Ecuadorians hurt.

    Re: Ecuador friendly matches 2008

Sure they wanted to win very badly, but they just didn't play with heart. They showed no emotion. They played well, but there was little spirit.

I think when Suarez left, they were inspired by his mere departure. That and Peru's lack of game.

My point is, I wouldn't credit the game to Vizuete as much as to the Ecua players and Peru's woeful performance!!

So Bolillo comes back...you think Bucaram's kid might want to try out for the team again...LOL!!
