We lost our 4th round game (quarterfinals) last night. It was pretty crap. We're not the best team at winning a LOT of headers in the air, especially in the box... Basically, they only had about 6 corners in the game, but it was more like 16, because if they ever get a throwin near the box, this HUGE girl chucks the ball to far post, and it's like a corner.

Either way, we lost 0-3, off of three corners. It was really upsetting. I touched the ball four times, I think it was. Literally. Some of the younger, more immature kids on the team don't understand that big fat strong Kait is posted up on a defender, play her the ball (TO FEEETTTT) so she can hold it up and have you run by for an easy goal, or have her turn.

It was really frustrating, but yeah. The keeper cussed me out; that shows great character, considering she's on the 17 (or 18, I forget) national pool. Nice attitude, idiot.

Well, I'm going to go relieve myself now; I just woke up. :]

I knew it wouldn't be settled within the 90 minutes. I still think it will go to Penalties. Both teams are playing shocking letting passes slip and stuff.

But Rooney has been brilliant at times. I would of loved him to have scored that goal when he ran the length of the pitch what an amazing first goal at wembley that would have been!!

I know but look how many chances we've had and missed. Doubt we are going to score within the next 2 minutes.

Yeah can't complain. I think if you asked any football fan which they would rather have. The league or the FA cup i think you'll find the majority of them would say the league. So im glad we got that.

I don't think either team played very well this afternoon. But the Chelsea goal was the move of the game.

Lets get ready for the charity shield now - lol.

Exactly! That's the luxury of being a United fan! It's 'oh well on to the next cup'. The last time Everton won something was the 96-97 Charity Shield against Blackburn! Some of the United fans are so ungrateful! The league was the number one prize...you won it! The Fa Cup was a bonus, sure you didn't win it but all it is, is a consolation for Chelsea. Ask any self respecting Chelsea fan (if you can find one) what they'd rather win.

Its like last season. I was so grateful we wont the carling cup. But to other clubs they treat it as a mickey mouse trophy.

I would have LOVED to have got the double. But we got the league from Chelsea and that is sweeter. The thing is neither team were fully on their game today. I think if they had of been more goals would have come.

Hahaha, well there are a lot of people around by me who wear Chelsea shirts. But i have to say, i have seen a lot more united shirts appearing over the past few weeks. I know im not from Manchester. But i got and see them play whenever i can get tickets (which is a hard feat at time but im lucky enough to know someone with a season ticket which i get when he cant get to games) and i have supported them since the age of 11.

My friend is actually Chelsea fan. He has a season ticket and he has supported them since he was little. He is now 22. He hates to see all the Chelsea shirts around now because he's like 'where were you when we were crap?!' hahaha! I've asked him. And he would rather have the league. He's at the final today so sure he's getting drunk right now!

Man Utd tickets are hard to come by, We live in Essex yet my mother manages to get up there and watch them every 2 weeks, luckily she managed to locate a season ticket holder/money maker, who actually supports Arsenal!

I'm the same as your Chelsea fan if Everton won the league! sure i'd be happy but it'd piss me off so much to see fairweathers. There's like 11 Everton fans where I live! I think? The Army Garrison has a fair few Scousers! And tbh the Carling is a mickey mouse cup in the top 4's eyes, but as an Everton fan ******** me i'd take it!

Hahaha! One of my old coaches was a die hard Everton fan with an season ticket. He used to make us laugh going on about them.

The bloke i know with a season ticket hardly ever goes himself now. He just keeps it because i think its such a hard thing to get hold of. I think he mostly sells the tickets to each game to people he knows. You mum is lucky though!

I was going to join that thing where you pay so much and you are guarenteed like 2 sets of tickets or somthing a season.

She is, although when she goes they either draw or just barely scrape a win! She was at Everton away;) I was working and couldn't believe the texts she was sending! Season tickets at the big 4 fetch a great deal! You can sell them for 60-100 quid a ticket!

He usually lets me have the tickets for free! :D

But thats what he usually does i think. He has 2. So he is raking it in. He tends to go to the big games himself though like the Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and City games. But other than that, he cashes in.

What a complete pigs ear "wembley" is (always to be referred to as new wembley from here on in), ridiculous amounts of shadow when the roof open, grass too long for a facup final and the pitch still cuts up. In all honesty the name shoulda died when Hamann shut the real Wembley down, slain by a german would've been more dignified than this corporate pee take. 60% of the crowd were fans, and you could tell by what can loosely be deemed "atmosphere".
Sure both teams playing poo didn't help, but then neither did the referee.....
Once again the oft forgotten story of a man who knows little about the game making the all important errors about the LITTLE things. It's not the BIG things that concern me, coz mistakes are made, but it's the consistent-inconsistency, disparity and general messes made by peeps who work from a law book made by imbeciles even further removed from how the game works.
5 mins Makalele dwells on the ball, gets minimal contact, freekick given.
10 Mins, Joe "whiny little biatch" Cole goes in 2 footed, both sets of studs showing, out of control as past his centre of balance, both catching Brown, no yellow coz it's too early.
On a few occasions players running with the ball (both sides) are victim of no calls when defender obstructs, setting the tone for a game where players cannot really run at defenders due to a) the crap pitch and b) the lack of understanding of fouls by the ref.
Drogba is given free-reign to be physically imposing, but Bennet panders to him whenever he chips a nail. This allows him to fight for balls he can win, whilst winning freekicks for balls he can't (by shurking away as tho he been fouled)...

Believe it or not, im actually tiring of this rant myself, almost as tired as Giggs looked the whole game....or was it lazyness first 85 mins.....either way a great season for him has been marred as his fitness and/or effort has been really exposed in the big CL semi and now this facup game at SHAMberley....

In truth Man U didn't do alot to deserve the win, but at teams with Cheatski's mentality, style and sickening attitude never deserve to win on principal, and certainly were no better than Man U today....a shame as I'd hoped that a loss here would break up the team, we could get shot of Mourinho and perhaps even Abramovich would get bored of ruining the prem with irrelevant monies.....

Alan Shearer said at half time that he had played a 5-a-side game on the pitch about a month ago and the pitch cut up then. You think they would have got the pitch sorted before they let teams play on it. Lets just hope they sort this out before the boys from Brasil come to play!!

Thats always going to be the trouble with the new wembley though. Its hardly going to house fans because of the corperate seating.

Although i think the atmosphere will be a bit different a week on Monday when the West Brom fans boing into town!
