    What a pathetic scene.
Why even sell seats above this level:

Thats well over an hour before 66,000 fans packed the place.

As for 'levels...' Duh. The whole plan is using the lower bowl for MLS.

Same stadium, later that SAME night during match:

Now of course Qwest is not a stadium you would set out to build specifically for MLS. It seats 67k. However, it certainly IS a stadium you would take advantage of while planning for your own SSS. It's in an amazing metropolitan, downtown locale with complete train, bus and light rail access.

Sounderfan, I was wondering why you chose to show that photo showing a sparse number of fans. I knew it was hours before the Real Madrid game but many others might not have picked up on that. Good photos of what an MLS size crowd would look like however. Even the galaxy claim to sell 27,000 tickets for games but the stands at HD look less filled than some of your photos.

I think the lower sections will fill nicely for MLS games. If a larger crowd is expected then open the "hawk's nest" first..... followed by the upper ring. Do you know if the photos of the game that looks like an international match was GA or reserved seating? The 7th photo shown above......

I didn't realize that was the same game/night.
But it doesn't matter, your never going to have 66,000.
This lower bowl set up will look as crap as KC.

I still think this "temporary" idea is crap. If your going to expand - do it right.
New team new stadium lots of fanfare etc.

Jump right in and make a statement. Don't limp in.

Thanks for playing Billy. Any game on television would not even show the upper sections...... so if they are empty..... WHO CARES? I have seen several SSS stadiums with empty seats on TV so what's the big deal? If a Seattle franchise can get a good lease and sell approx 20,000 tix anyway it shouldn't concern
you. Qwest was sold to Washington residents as a dual Football/Soccer facility.
That is why Qwest is an option. That stipulation was a big reason that we still have NFL in Seattle as well.

Playing in a 450 Million-dollar state of the art venue is hardly 'limping in.'

It is very likely a Seattle SSS will be a DOWNGRADE in everything (location, luxury suites, amenities) except intimacy.

From a pure architecture standpoint, Qwest Field and the new Soldier Field are the coolest looking stadiums of any kind in the United States.

Too "pretty" to be an NFL venue, really.

Qwest is sweet, but the new Soldier field looks like a space ship crashed into the colosseum.

And I would argue that Qwest is the most intimate 65K+ stadium in North America for soccer.
    It's nothing like KC
