Thank you. It clarifies the good news about Carlos and the bad news about Amando. What the hell is NASCAR thinking? SIX races and 100 points? they have essentially just eliminated the most popular guy in racing from the Chase. If it had been #24 or #48, NASCAR would not have done anything. At least, it will give him time to decide how nice it would be to race for JGR. FREE JUNIOR! Dead but dreaming, Scipio Diabolus, vox fatum. The Rolling Rock tastes different.
I think Jr has totally written this season off with all the drama at DEI. I will be writing this season off soon unless someone can present a challenge to JJ or Gordon. I can't stand either of those guys.
The only thing worse than Nascar is Nascar talk. Good to hear there's no merit to the Ruiz trade talks. I'm looking for him to but a nice little beat down on Chicago Thursday evening.
If Junior is half the driver his legion of redneck fans think he is, he should still make the Chase. The 100 point hit dropped Jr. from 12th to 14th - top 12 make the Chase - and he's now 54 points behind No. 12 Jamie McMurray and three points behind No. 13 Ryan "King of the Pole" Newman. If he can't make up 54 points the rest of the season he's more overrated than most real racing fans think he is. Oh, and the only way he drives for JGR is if Coach Joe changes his stance on alcohol adverstising, which is stricter than MLS', and the odds of that happening are very slim. Jr. is too entrechend with Budweiser to turn his back on them.
Well, two can play at that game. Play along if you find any humor in it: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=11558507#post11558507
You're playing along to the wrong rumor-monger. The Ruiz for Albright-Jaqua rumor didn't start on bigsoccer. It was first published in the LA Times by Graham Jones. Try pulling his leg. BTW - what's really interesting is that, if you take out the Guat-fans from the Galaxy thread about this, I'd say about 80% of the Galaxy fans were against the trade...
if you get rid Ruiz you win no matter who you get in return. All the drivers were warned about the fine before the COT ever hit the track. NASCAR finally did exactly what they said they were going to. F Teresa and DEI.
Rookie Lewis Hamilton has been doing great in Formula One so far...I can't believe how far Renault has fallen since Fernando Alonso left.
speaking of which, as the prince of the NASCAR thread-hijackers, you have the audacity to claim that kicks ought to be only FCD-related?
Doing great is an understatement. Dude is in first place in the world's most popular driving series. True 'dat. Says something about one of NASCAR's dirty little secrets that the European series has more brothas driving on it than NASCAR does. Johnson and Gordon are definitely the Chelsea and ManU of NASCAR right now and just as in the EPL, everyone else is battling for third place. I bet it just chaps the ass of most NASCAR fans that the sports two best drivers are from California and not Dixie. Hell, based on the current standings after the points deduction, if the Chase started tomorrow, the only two drivers from Southern states would be a pair of Virginians, Denny Hamlin and Jeff Burton.
