    Hey DCU Supporters,
My good friend is turning 40 on June 8 and getting married on June 17 (2nd time). He wants to get a group together to watch the DC-LA game (I know it is late - 10:30) and have a pre-game dinner/drinks. We aren't looking for anything really crazy, just a good place to get together with other DCU fans and have a good time. I would need to be able to get about 15-20 people together, so space is also a concern. We live in Crofton/Bowie, but dont' mind going into DC or NoVa if there is a good place.

If you have any suggestions, please reply. I would really appreciate any help as I am the 'Best Man' and would like to give him a good combo party.

    Thanks.
    Tom

My wife and I will be in Rome, Italy. Anyone know any good bars that show MLS games over there?

Just kidding. I think I'm not gonna worry too much about MLS when we're on vacatin.

Whoa watching the news. There's an MLB player named Josh Gros (or Gross)?

    Funny

I went to McGinty's in downtown Silver Spring for the Columbus match. I may go there again. A lot of SE's were there and we had a pretty good crowd.

McGinty's in Silver Spring will probably be the closest viewing party option for you guys, like Gavin mentioned.

If you e-mail me at membership@screaming-eagles.com I can put you in touch with our regiment captain out there who will be organizing the event.

there's a USMNT/MLS double-header on tv that night. yes the games are in two different stadiums on different tv networks, but for the tv viewer, it can be treated as a double-header.

Actually, I'm planning to be in a drug-induced haze for two weeks and I misspelled vicodin.

If you're in VA Kilroy's is very easy to find and just minutes from the beltway.

The tent at Kilroy's has already been reserved for another function. Management told me that since it's a late game if the people clear out they'll move us in.
