If you're having problems finding cleats, it might well be worth checking out a few of these sites.

    http://www.prodirectsoccer.com

UK based - probably has the best range at present. Great pics, and offers personalisation. Some have said the cost of delivery to the US is a problem, but worth a look.

    http://www.kitbag.com

UK based - has a smaller range of boots but has most of the current boots. Usually charges full RRP though.

    http://www.soccer.com

US based - Great range of boots, and offers the best photo galleries of any site at present. Has a lot of discount codes that it might be worth checking out before ordering.

    http://www.acasports.co.uk

UK based - Has a good range of replica shirts, cleats and compression clothing. Also has a good range of studs for Predators, Tunits and Vapors. Delivery is a bargain - for orders under £100 UK delivery is £2.50, US delivery is £10.

    http://www.justsocca.com

UK based - Excellent prices, a bit hit and miss with sizes though. Worth a look.

    http://www.eastbay.com

US based - Has a fair selection of boots, and also a lot of discount codes.

    http://www.nikys-sports.com

US based - If they have what you want, great prices, and AMAZING customer service.

    http://www.soccercorner.com
US based - Great selection, prices match soccer.com Goal Club prices without a club card. fast to ship, and great customer service.

If you have used any of these stores, or any other online store, can you please put a bit of feedback in this thread, detailing the delivery time, service and so on. This way your fellow users can see how you found them and make their decision easier as to what online shops they do and don't use in future. Thanks!

    -----------------------

In a nutshell, I'd strongly advise not to buy from Weston unless you like being frustrated. I checked their website and they listed a great selection of Predators, inlcuding the Pulse. They advertise sales to all over the world, but I first called to make sure and was told that they no longer sell to customers in the US. As the fellow did not sound like he knew his stuff well, I placed an order through the website and had no problems whatsoever. But when I tried to get an actual e-mail confirming my purchase, nobody was answering. I waited about a week and called again only to find out that the person responsible for internet sales was away on his honeymoon for another week and nobody would touch anything in that department in his stead. I called again when he came back, and got some sort of verbal confirmation from him which sounded more like questions than confirmation, however. He said he'd e-mail me with instructions. I sent another e-mail after a few days asking to confirm, but again the e-mail was never responded to. This was week and a half ago and the whole process started last week of January.
My CC account has the amount authorized on it, which was done automatically the day I placed the order over the internet. At this point, I think they simply do not update their website and they do not have the shoes I ordered and just don't care to e-mail me to let me know. So basically, the authorized amount will fall off after 30 days if nothing happens. But until then, I have to wait and cannot cancel on my end, and have already wasted money calling Singapore for nothing. Stay away if you ever entertained an idea of buying over the net from them.

    Re: Weston warning

I've been to the actual shop when I was in Singapore back in July 2005. The shop is a small little store packed with alot of great football merchandise and is one of many sports stores in a little sports shopping complex. The shop is very popular because of all its old and new stock but I found that the service wasn't satisfactory and just left the shop empty handed, feeling frustrated. Alot of the staff was young and quite a few of them didn't know the answers to my questions about prices.

My time was limited so I was in a bit of a rush but I just felt that the staff weren't very willing to help and just wanted sales.

I've used the following online shops:
Eastbay B+, takes sometime for them to ship. They have great customer service. lenient return policy.
Soccer.com B+ ships within a week. Pricey shipping costs, but since they use ups, most orders shipped insured.
Magicsoccerdiscounts.com The online form seemed really sketchy, when the order went through, half of the info never made it. However, there was an email the next morning, a phone call, and yet another email for me to call and confirm and talk to someone to verify and make sure everything was ok. GREAT customer service and really decent prices.
Kitbag.com fast to ship to the US from the UK. Not bad pricing on shipping to the US either.
Bigtoe.com (pre soccer.com takeover) Great customer service, selection and size choice.

Some more online retailers i highly recommend:

http://www.nikys-sports.com - If they have what you want, great prices, and AMAZING customer service.

http://www.soccercorner.com - Great selection, prices match soccer.com goalclub prices without a club card. fast to ship, and great customer service.

Justsocca.com - I bought boots from them in December 2005, in the busy Christmas period. The site has become more popular since, but they had excellent communication, answering my questions promptly and sending me confirmation emails once the transaction had gone through. For 7 gbp, the package was sent to my uncle in London the next morning.

Kitbag.com - I've bought 2 shirts from the site before, and both times the shirt has arrived safely and I've been happy with it. It took about 3-4 weeks each time, which is an average amount of time. Sadly, on the second time I had to pay import duties, but that has nothing to do with the site.

Justsocca.com- I bought my F50+ Goals from here. Shipping to US was a bit much, but it took just 1 week to get here. Price wa very very good and customer service was great and friendly. B+

Soccer.com- I've bought several different boots and equipment from here without any problems. Prices are good, especially with Goal Club. Highly recommended in ever way. A+

WWW.WEGOTSOCCER.COM - I have to say I am really impressed by this company. I was somewhat skeptical because I hadn't heard of them before and the prices seemed too good to be true, but their service was A+. I got the charcoal/gold vapor III for $136, which was including ground shipping. I received my cleats in the morning on the third day after I placed the order. I would greatly recommend this comany to anyone, plus their prices for their sale shoes were hard to beat.

soccer.com: Had a recent bad experience. On the initial order took 4 business days, not the one claimed, to process and ship my order (and I paid the extra cost to get them overnighted to try and get them before a match). Based on their and internet wide conflicting sizing information and ordered half-size too small, no big deal, it happens. They sent a bad return label and then wanted to bill me prior to sending a second. The return label gets things back to them slowest way possible and they STILL charged me for a return label, which I decided to swallow just to get my boots. Then, contacted them and they said it was out of stock so I told them to wait and bill me at the beginning of the next month or contact me if that was not possible. No response, assumed things were kosher. Emailed beginning of this month, took 3 emails and a phone call to get a response from them. They had cancelled my order immediately after I asked them to hold it but neglected to email and tell me, but had NOT refunded my purchase price until my final email. Even their emails on the first time asking for status of my order (since they deducted the cost from my account but hadnt' updated my order status or responded to me) were pretty rude and unhelpful. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, since a prior order was done well, but I won't be ordering for a long while from them again.

soccercorner.com: Good prices, quick response from customer service when called, quick process times and shipping. One drawback, sometimes they still leave items up as available on their website when they're out of stock, but they did email right away after the order was processed to let me know. I'll go back to them before soccer.com

I ordered some boots from www.soccermagicdiscounts.com and have been really impressed with their customer service. The boots I ordered did not fit, so I called the shop and he said to ship them back and he would send the replacements. I mentioned that I had a game next week and was hoping to get hoping to get them in time to break in some first and he said he would see what he could do. I got the shipping notice immediately after getting off the phone, and noticed that the shipping was a much faster ship than the first go round. I should have my boots tomorrow and be braking them in over the weekend. Really nice and helpful shop with some great prices.

Has anyone been to their storefront? I am going to be in the area in a few weeks and I was wondering if it would be worth it to stop by.

Has anyone ever ordered from www.soccershopusa.com before? I was wondering because their prices are incredible. They already have the T90 Lasers priced down to $159 I beleive. They also have the new Beckham and CL preds both priced down to $179. If this site is reliable it is going to become my new Soccer.com because those prices can't be beat (I feel like a spokesperson for them, lol).

I just ordered some V3s from there for 48 bucks and like you said their conformation order was kinda funky but like you said I can expect a phone call? Or maybe I should call em to see if they have received my order. Hopefully they come through because that is a really good price for the shoes that I ordered :(

I wouldn't recommend buying from onionbag.com because they messed up my order from oct. and again this time too that's 2 out of 2.

long story short, they didn't refund money, nor return calls, etc etc

Have used them twice before. Both times I ordered embroidered Predator Absolutes. Amazingly one came after a day and the other after 2 days!

However, I ordered the Umbro X Boot 3 with embroidery and this has turned into a DISASTER. After 4 working days the status was still shown to be "picking in the warehouse", so I called up to see what's going on. First of all, got rudely talked to by one of the guys in customer services who tried to shut me up by raising his voice and cutting me off during mid sentence. All I was asking for is that if the embroidery wasn't done, let me cancel my order! I've never lost my temper on the phone before and this was the first time. I called a couple of minutes again and it turns out that the boots are now at an "urgent" trolley to be embroidered, so I can't cancel my order. What rubbish. They can't even guarantee delivery before the end of the week.

Crap service, rude customer service, and don't give a damn when they've clearly messed up orders. Don't think I will use them again!

Some of their prices seem too good to be true, but I ordered a pair of Kappa outdoor cleats (The Players booked at $120, i paid $38 w/ shipping) and they were great, shipped relatively fast and great customer service. The only minor complaint is that the cleats didnt come in the original Kappa box, they were shipped in a Fed Ex shoe box, but thats not a big deal to me.

I believe that they are in US as the site is based in the US. Unless otherwise stated, that is the belief I would go with.

    Two questions:

    1) Has anyone from the USA ordered from Prodirect? What customs charges have you incurred, if any?

    2) Has anyone gotten boots personalized from soccer.com? Did you like it? Do you have pictures? Was it worth it?

    Thanks.
