If this is true, then it's beyond hope !?

I would've never thought we'd get 2 quality opponents in a row, even more so under Ghalenoui.

We did'nt get these friendlies even for the WC.

Well unlike the World Cup you don’t have politicians pushing to ban Iran. You notice how these games are suddenly happened right after the US made an announcement about inviting Iranian athletes to the US?

As you know on June 2nd, Iran is playing a friendly against Mexico in Mexico while Uruguay playing Australia in Australia. Both teams would like to fly right back home and play another friendly with a quality opponent at home to prevent extra travelling, time zone change, hotels,... for their players. While Iran invited the Uruguy team to Tehran, Uruguay responded by inviting Iran to play in their country (since Iran is already in Mexico). Neither team, rightfully so, found the benefits overcoming all the difficulties.

It only says that the Uruguayan football federation has received an offer from IFF to play a friendly. It says nothing about anything being confirmed or planned.

So this would be 3 games in 5 days for Uruguay in 3 different countries. I wonder what kind of performance they can give in that third game.

The third game would be Iran, the quoted article already has them playing Austrialia and Indonesia.
