    well written article. They say 2009 and then next year when referring to the pick to be exchanged. I wonder which it is?

    the galaxy acquired him from KC for a 2nd round pick in next years superdraft, chivas acquired him from the galaxy for a 2nd round pick in 2009's superdraft.

    he was only with the galaxy a little over a month

    If it's one thing I hate about the MLS is how the teams play musical chairs with it's players. They all bounce around from week to week. By the end of the year... it's practically a completely different squad than when it started the season.

    Have you seen the Mexican league teams in Libertadores?

    The whole "refuerzos" concept is about as "anti-deportivo" as you can get.

    I see the trade on the Galaxy site but not the Chivas site - is Chivas waiting to announce that Guevara is officially off (i.e. suspension) the roster before a spot opens up for Thomas and it announces the trade?
