Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Hopefully this very good season will win him admirers in France, Germany or Italy -- even thou I believe that Italy is never a great place for Japanese players, especially now.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] http://www.stv.tv/content/sport/spo...rtnews/Celtic_stars_in_line_for_awards_120407 Nakamura nominated for 2006-07 Scottish Premier League Player of the Year. Only 2 possible winners: Nakamura or Boruc. Boruc is one of the best goalkeepers in the world right now. Let's hope Nakamura wins the award.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] the next 2 games for Koji Nakata will important ones tomorrow against FC St.Gallen (3rd) and next week against Zürich (1st) again
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Frankfurt won away 2-4 against Bielefeld Takahara wasn't really seen on the pitch he just played a pass to Amanatidis and out came a PK
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] damn, where is my head today FC Basel played 3-3 against FC St.Gallen
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] There is a Japanese player called Kato in the Argentine league. He scored the winner for Huracan last week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjMsc9PUI9s
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Now that Marcus Tulio Tanaka won J-League MVP, it's about time he went to Europe, isn't it? He's been Japan's best defender for years. Zico should have played him at last year's WC.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] tonight Takahara plays with Frankfurt against 1.FC Nürnberg in the semi-final of DFB-Pokal
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Hi, I read in a Danish newspaper on the way to the airport some weeks ago that Vejle, the last place team in Denmark, has a Japanese player who just transferred to the club. His name is Suguru Hashimoto He last played for Alibrex Niigata and is an attacking midfielder. Anyone knew of him in Japan?
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] He last played for Albirex Niigata SINGAPORE. Which means I'm probably the only one who has seen him play live in the last 2 years. He did look classy in the S-League though, a little in the Pirlo mould. Very good distributor of the ball, but probably should get forward more. If Issey Nakajima can prosper in the Danish League, Hashimoto should be able to do so as well.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Well Vejle are all but certain to be relegated from the Danish top flight so...maybe he can shine in 2. Liga. man, can't Singapore come up with original names? Thats worse than Real Salt Lake
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Unlike Fake Salt Lake, ANS is actually an extension of its parent club. The S-League allows foreign teams to take part in its championship. There have been Chinese (Sinchi) and African (Sporting Afrique) teams in the past, and Liaoning Guangyuan (China) and Korean Super Reds FC (South Korea) joined the league this season. There's also a team called Young Lions, which is mostly players on Singapore's U-23 team.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] celtic won the scottish championship thanks to nakamura's injury time goal.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] He also served up the corner kick for VofH's opening goal. Fitting performance for the man named SPL player of the year: http://football.guardian.co.uk/Match_Report/0,,2063189,00.html
Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] Hello. Former Avispa and Thespa Forward Keisuke Ota saw his first action of the season, subbing in at the 55 minute mark of the Minnesota Thunder's 3 to 1 loss to the Atlanta Silverbacks. He did not get many touches as the Thunder were playing one man down due to an ejection at the 47 minute mark. We expect to see more of him at the Thunder's home opener on May 6th. Re: Japanese Abroad 2006-2007 Part II [R] just read ole nippon's article about matsui. he is fit, and playing well in training. but he'll never play the rest of season because he isn't in le mans' future plan anymore. he'll move to another club and he has already gotten offers from several ligue 1 clubs.
