All white is beautiful. We just need the darker numbers which we will have.

Hey I guess the green socks mean we have a green uniform as well. 4 Uni's!!!

Not necessarily, but it does mean Portugal can wear the red jersey, white shorts, and green sock combo.

you said you love the black kit (who doesnt?), but theres no black in the flag at all. Their excuse for using it was because the in Portugal's first ever game when they played against Spain in Madrid, the Portugal team wore black jersies (probably because the spain team was wearing red).

Portugal's alternate colors are almost always predominantly white, sometimes with some blue involved.

Portugal rarely uses their changed strip in tournments anyways, the most notable times were the all white kit from 1984 vs France in the semi final of euro and the 1966 white/blue kit in the 3rd place game.

in every tournment Ive seen Portugal play in (Euro 96, 00, 04, and WC 02, 06) I think in every game they wore the home jersies lol.

Reminder: The SPT TV channel (from DISH Network) in conjunction with my website will be running a special promotion this week until Sunday where we will give out a total of 20 Portugal NT jerseys for the 1st 20 people that correctly guess the final score of the Benfica-Porto game. Stay Tuned to that channel for more details!

Makes me wonder why Portugal did not wear their black jerseys?

    I REALLY like that jersey.

It could not be because of the Sun as it was damn COLD there in Belgrade....

Just switch the red and green around on the socks and that would how I would like the color scheme to be for either Euro 2008 or WC 2010

    Wow...LOL

I am pretty sure Nike will not let Brasil go. They KNOW how big the value of the Canarinha is. I expect Nike to match it.

I just hope Portugal stays with Nike, I detest the new Addidas templates for the most part.
