Re: News: U.S. wins with three from Donovan I've inquired about having the Bot turned off for our forum. You all have legitimate complaints regarding the posting of results in the thread title. Even if they do figure that part out, the value of the Bot, IMO, isn't that great anyway.
For me, the things that are frustrating about the bot far outweigh whatever value it might have. It would be one thing if we could have the posts go straight to this news subforum. I wouldn't mind it at all then. But if we don't have that ability, I say kill it altogether.
It was a good idea, but its not working the way it should...so let it go. Somehow, before the bot existed, we were able to keep one another informed of news items that pertained to FCD. I'm sure we could handle it ourselves.
Supposedly the Bot has been succesfully killed for the FCD forum. Funeral service times and viewing hours have yet to be arranged. In lieu of flowers please send a small donation in the Bots name to the Annoying As All Hell Internet Automation Assocation.
