Whats the debate anyway, he got a red card, so thats the a 3 match ban - no more.

I wanted to ask you guys something before I shoot off for the evening. I was thinking it would be a good idea if we made a stickied thread of "Ground Rules" for the forum - something for newbies to check into to get the vibe of the forum so that the regulars don't ridicule them for basic errors like making threads for "what boots should I get" and so on - basically so there's no excuse.

So what I was thinking is, does anyone have any ideas of what should definitely be in there? I don't want to put more than 7 rules on this thread if possible so what's most important to you guys? I have a basic gist of what I would put but your opinions would be appreciated.

Well just because it was Ronaldo it doesn't mean the ban should be extended. There are many bad reds in football.;)

Not quite sure Bigg...I need to give it a think.

Our left-back isn't availble to play on Thursday night so I'm being shifted to left-back for the match...its gonna take some getting used to again...I really love left-wing now.

If they tried it on Cesc I think you'd be first in line ;) But hey what I'm saying is the guy is crazy for just going in like a nut.

Good luck at left back it sucks when you gotta go back :p

Yeah, players acting out in anger like that is natural sometimes, but totally unacceptable. I remember last season when that cvnt, Smith from Sunderland, screwed Diaby's ankle...I was so ready to actually double fist punch that f@cker in his face, until I realised I was on another continent.

Actually the use of a double fist punch is very useful indeed. I learnt it from Adriano and it works well, trust me!:D

Speaking of Cesc...Did he actually play on Sunday against us? I saw some chump lookalike get knocked on his ass by Manelele but after that nothing. ;)

What about you Devil? Did you see him?

I actually really like Diaby, good strong player! Tbh I like all of Arsenals youngsters (apart from when they thrash us! It's okay when they do Liverpool though!) Song Bilong is another! he's a powerhouse.

There have been a few Cesc doubters over the past few weeks. Funnily enough it coincided with Arsenal's loss of any good strikers. The fact is that Cesc is taking too much time on the ball because we've got a bunch of noshows upfront.

As for Song...I tore him completely apart before, but he's really seemed to relax and come into his own of late. Those passes that he has been playing have been b.e.a.utiful!

    I want RvP back tho!

Cesc is an awesome player, I remember saying that to my brother during the Community Shield, which i believe was his first game. So im always happy when he has an off day against us. He was your only real threat, him and maybe Walcott. You do miss RVP, if you had him on the weekend it would have been a completely different game.

Fran Merida is one for the future too!

Thats the first time I saw him aswell. I remember looking on the BBC Arsenal teamsheet (Ars 5 - 3 Boro) and thought, "Who is Soler?" How things have changed!

As for Walcott, don't even utter his name in my presence...I am really not a fan of him. My gran has more agression than him!

I've not seen anything of Merida, other than a youtube video of him...which doesn't really help when you can make Cygan look good in a youtube video!:p

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the growth of Denilson and Diaby, great finds they are!

And how about Andy Johnson! That guy must be super fit! He runs around to no end and then still has the fitness to cooly finish in a match.

    SKIZZ,

About the rules, one of them MUST be: "If you are wondering what boot is the best/most comfortable/whatever positive adjective you can find, look around, the question has been asked and answered many times."

Of course they were in a) a charity match or b) when the game was well over, but still...

Yea Fabs played and scored back b4 that charity shield game, wearing like 47 or something! He awesome and as R&W sed, is suffering from playing with those below his level

im sorry although i dont condone anyone coming on the pitch, neither do i condone players baiting supporters. cashley and fat frank both went over to spurs fans and wound a lot of them up. bear in mind that a week previous to this there were mass brawls organised between spurs and chelscum supporters. we hate them and they hate us. someone who earns £100 odd grand a week should be more responsible for their actions after such an important match. the thing that gets me the most is that the day after in the papers, fat frank is a victim, no mention of the fact that he was stirring trouble before hand. and cashley is just as bad, see the video that when the geeza is restrained to the ground, by however many people, cashley is repeatedly kicking him when he's on the ground defenceless.

now forgive me if im wrong, but is that the actions of a man or a coward??

no mention of that in the papers are there!! anyways, rant over, as i say i dont condone what the supporters did, however its not just a case of 'thug runs on pitch', there are two sides to a story always. the bloke who did it is an idiot and you know full well if you run on the pitch your gonna get banned. i wouldnt risk my season ticket for a mad moment regardless of how pissed up i was!

i hate him as well. i obviously dont like the goons much, (as much respect i have for them), however what he did was wrong to start with. suffice to say le arse got the best deal anyway. i hate cole, he is a dribbling mess, i hate his stupid thick bird, and i hate everything he stands for.

greedy tweedy is just as bad. i see an interview she once did prior to her wedding with the clearly 'cash-strapped' cashley. she was asked about what wedding presents they would asked for, and she replied something along the lines of, "i dont believe its right to ask for wedding presents, its wrong to do a list blah blah blah". what kind of idiot is she, the woman already has everything and she was trying to take the moral high ground on national tv to make herself look like a nice girl.

in all honesty, they are suited for each other in their marriage of convenience.

he's a w*****, and she's an old strumpet. not too mention the allegations about the two of them.

Believe it or not, Ashley was for years my favourite player in the world. I watched him clsely and learnt alot from him as a left back. I loved him for scoring that last gasp winner against Kiev in the CL to keep us in the competition. I went beserk and broke off part of my printer. How things have changed...

Anyways, last night we were practicing crossing and running into the box. My teammate sent in one from the right flank as I made a run to the back post. The ball just came high at me, almost shoulder height, and I kept my eye on it and pulled the trigger with a swinging volley like Zidane's in the CL! Bang, it hit the left junction of the pole and bounced back over me.

And then I got two balls layed off to me and I kept on hitting these sweet bending and powerful volleys into the bottom corners.

I can even cross with my right foot now!

This jump up to senior football has plunged me in and its really helped me improve, not only in skill but in terms of tactical awareness and off the ball movement.

    WOOT WOOT:D
