I heard the rumour Farfans going to London but not us, Because apperently PSV and the Blues have a relationship going between the clubs.

He would have been top scorer, but he is injured and Alves for Heervenenen is on fire!!!!

He has 16 goals, and is a legit player from what I've seen of him in the Champions League. In my eyes Wenger would have already snapped him up if he saw something. Maybe, maybe not.

For that to happen Aliadiere, Baptista, and probably Bendtner would all have to leave, which I don't think is likely.

PSV aren't short on cash and don't need to sell any players. If Arsenal want Farfan they'll have to come up with some big money. Remember when ManU offered a pittance for Robben? PSV laughed it off and waited for a better offer. They're no idiots in Eindhoven.

I can tell you this, my FM07 scouts have rated garay as the highest rated defender in the game. He is young, and would have work permit issues - but I think he is good enough to qualify under the exceptional talent rule.

While I don't think we could snatch him for 3m, I do think we would be able to get him for under 10m. Don't underestimate the Arsenal negotiators.

I can't see Wenger spending 10 million on yet another forward. Unless he's planning to sell Henry or similar.

I just gave up on a game where I was at "penniless Sporting", and it was clear things were never going to get any better. But I picked him up cheap as a mature player in about 2012 and he was a monster. Can't remember where I got him from, but he was one of the best bargains I've ever seen for a player in his prime years.

PSV don't need money? that's odd, given how you're always complaining about how poor Dutch clubs are, and how the bottom Premiership clubs have more money.

I heard Tony Adams say he tried to persuade Farfan to go to Pompey in last summers transfer window.

Farfan has said that? I hadn't heard that. That makes some of the rumors from nowhere make a bit more sense.

    Robinho for arsenal??

Everyone has there own opinion about what arsenal is currently lacking, but I think they lack someone who can actually take on defenders, do a trick or two, the sort of thing ronaldo does for Man U.

I think robinho would be great for that, he can play alongside henry up front or on the right wing. He's out of favour with real madrid right now and there are rumors they might sell him relatively cheap. He's for sure a quality player and would fit in arsenal style.

Add to him ribery, and a quality keeper. Someone that can make the sort of difference czech(spelling??) does for chelsea. And I think arsenal would be a very strong force.

    what do you think?

Prefer Babel of Holland. Just as skillful and much more physical.

    Re: Robinho for arsenal??

i'm not going to say that Robinho is a bad player, because he isn't. The problem is, Real Madrid is where you go to end your career, not start it. But seriously, the reasons you have for Arsenal to get Robinho are off. Henry (at 100%) is fully capable of taking on and beating defenders, Hleb, with his unconventional style takes on defenders, so does Baptista, Walcott, and most of our other attacking players take on defenders. The only difference is that Robinho needs a couple of step overs.

I wouldn't be totally against the idea of brining him to Arsenal, but it looks like he has a very big ego, and players at Arsenal know that to succeed at Arsenal, you need to wait to get your chance, and i don't think that he is a player that is ready to do that. Plus, anything more than 5 million for the kid is a rip off.

I love Babel but I would never call him as skillful as Robinho. Definitely more physically gifted though, and a couple of years younger.
