on an unrelated note, in FIFA 2007 I got offered 60 million pounds for Walcott. i played him in every game my first season and he got good fast. now he is 19 and like a 98 or something like that.

Is ProEvo really that much better than Fifa?

Demanding to be played guarantees you don't play and certainly wouldn't impress prospective suitors...something was lost in translation. Or maybe Et'o has been advised that he's earned kudos and medals at Barca and now maybe the premium time to Capitalize on his status...EPL: Chelsea/Manu.

Robinho has made the same demands but seems to just want to play futbol...EPL: Arsenal.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but...

Cesc to end his career in Spain

Basically hinting that a few years down the line he doesn't know where he will be

Same hear. The ratings are so weird. Walcott is like a 96 and worth 90 million dollars or something crazy. Also, Senderos two years in is a 92! Toure is only a 85 and Gallas a 86.

Cesc will eventually leave Arsenal but don't expect it to happen in the next 2-3 years.

    Maybe in 10 years. :)

Wow i really like the look of that first lineup.

I like it a bit more with Henry and RvP withdrawn though playing more out wide and in a support role of Eto then out and out 3 up front.
    --------------Eto'o
    -Henry-------------------RvP
    ---------Rosicky--Cesc
    ------------Gilberto
    Clichy--Gallas--Toure--Eboue

Eto has speed to burn and can get on the end of through balls and passes, Henry has natural skills on the left and i think could be converted more to play there and become more of a support player in his older age rather. I think he could cope well with a new star player as well. We all love Cesc but Henry is the legend, Eto would become an instant favorite and i think this would help to take some of the mental burden off Henry. Finally RvP is a left winger but we have all seen what he can do playing on the right. He does have that ability to cut inside and unleash beauties with his left ala Henry style.

I say we let the beast go, sell ali (2-3 mil) and reyes (10-12 mil) buy Eto (18-22 mil). So that leaves us with 6-7 mil to pull out of the bank. I dont really see that being a problem especially for a player like Eto. That would give us Eto and Ade for the top spot and Henry, Rvp, & Theo for the out wide positions. Could Bendtner play out there as well or is he more of an out and out striker? Also Rosicky and Hleb could fill those positions if need be.

Doubt Eto'o will cost anything less than 30mil and IMO Ali would cost around 6mil in this market

Bendtner would only be able to play upfront, not out wide.

Well, even they are speculating, but i think it wouln't be such a bad idea to get Jussi here .. He's still 31, and thats young in Wenger's view .. He's got great EPL experience too ..

Gosh... I don't think I could take Jaaskelainen here... too many games played against him in those Bolton colors. Although that would stick it to Bolton, eh?

"Bayo" wants improved contract or he is out?

I slightly over dramatized the title ;).

I don't see why he wouldnt get a substantially better offer, as he has come a long way in the last few months.

As for Jaaskelainen - no, just no. I much preferred the names we were throwing about earlier, akinfeev, gordon for 5m etc.

Jaaskelainen is good, but he is not a top class goalkeeper.

I disagree. If you think Eto'o stays up top to finish things off then you are clearly mistaken. Eto'o is a better version of Saha in that he drops deep and his runs create space for Ronaldinho/Messi/etc to exploit.

Eto'o drops back, but at the same time he will be in the box more often than not when needed.

If eto'o is like saha, then henry would be more like rooney, and their styles would complement each other. You guys play balls into the area looking for saha, we play them in to an empty space because we have no striker with that sort of instinct to be in the right place on the receiving end.

Here's sme new rumors I haven't seen before:

Farfan to Arsenal for £3 million this summer.

Arsenal interested in Racing defending duo Ruben Gonzalez and Ezequiel Garay.

I don't know where these things come from, or how realistic they are! Farfan for just 3 million is pretty cheap.

3 mil for Farfan seems nice, but isn't he having a poor season?
