Is there an allotment of tickets for USA fans? The draw is March 3. Just as long as the USA is not playing in Edmonton, we should play our games within a short distance of significant populations of USA fans. Burnaby and Victoria, BC, are near the Pacific Northwest soccer hotbeds of Seattle and Portland, Ore., while Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal are within driving distance for USA fans in the Northeast and Midwest. Let's show the world how USA fans support their team!
I'll go if the US gets a game in Toronto, Montreal, or Ottawa. Montreal would be the best. Great city
The drive from Northern NJ / NYC to Montreal is only 5 1/2 hours and plenty of hotel options in the city. (and great nightlife away from the games) Would love to see the US drawn there. Anyone know if there will be seedings and certain teams shifted towards certain cities? i.e., would Japan be weighted to end up on the west coast? Heres hoping to Montreal...
I'm pretty sure ESPN has the rights to the youth tournaments. My guess is that the games will either be on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
