I was referring to the U17 and U21 teams. One thing about Haitian teams they cud show us a thing or two in winning and dancing after they win. Then again I guess that's not how we roll.

Well, this last Haitian victory is in line with these teams head-to-head record. TnT has a positive record against Haiti. However, if you go back in time to look at some Haiti vs TnT results, you will notice that these teams seem to take turn in beating each other. One time Haiti went to Port of Spain and demolished TnT; but, a few days later, the warriors returned the favour in Port-au-Prince! :D

It's always like you beat today, I will beat you next time. And so goes our history.

I wish both our teams good luck at the Gold Cup.

No excuses here son. Just plain facts.

You are in dreamland....and I can understand why since it took you exactly 30years to win your first EVER CFU title:eek:;)

But memba dis likkle Haitian bwoy.... Jamaica and Trinidad are still your daddy. We've won it many more times than you...so savour the cup glory now because you may never see another Haitian CFU title for the rest of your normal lifespan on earth :D

    Congratulations are in order for:

    The Haitians:

This title is confirmation of the good work you have been doing on the youth level. With a bit of luck, you could be a serious force to contend with later on. More respect for the Caribbean.

    The Soca Warriors

C team as you were branded, you did better than most of us expected, and I daresay, if you had had half the preparation time the Haitians did you would have come out of it champions.

    We made some nice discoveries,

Denzil Theobald showing leadership qualities, Darryl Roberts coming out of the unknown, maybe Jemmott getting the motivation to become fit again.

Tiger and Baptiste on the flanks...

    A quality keeper in Williams

and most of all, determination and self belief.

    Lets build on it...

    We're waiting for you Morado...:D

hahaha......Jealous ones still envy? Nothing to be jealous of when we've won it multiple times.

This tournament was like playing in the World Cup finals for you people and we all know how long ago that was.:D

ok so what? Digicel Caribbean Cup 2007 was the largest Caribbean football tournament to ever take place, that is a fact whether you like it or not. After a competition that featured 24 Caribbean nations Haiti was the last squad still standing so don't hate the player, hate the game.

You contradict yourself if NOW you say that it's not really a big deal to your people, when the fact is it's the only competition you guys win on an international level.........and you know it, if you disagree then show me your other competition trophies on an international stage. i'm talking about international not club.

Yes it was a big tournament....newsflash it's always been a big tournament in CFU so I really don't understand your logic.

And as I said it was like a WC finals for you because in the past you would never get that far when you played in these types of Cup tournaments.;)

This is the second time ever in your history that you reached a Caribbean Cup final, and the first time you actually won!

I'll show you Jamaica's and Trinidad and Tobago's international titles right after you show me Haiti's :p Lead by example:D

    So?
Since Jamaica last went to the WC, there is now a Montenegro as a country.
Does that belittle Jamaica's achievement? I don't think so.

oh that's easy, Haiti won the CCCF title back in 1957 and then won the CONCACAF title in 1973. So how many non Caribbean titles have your country's won in their history?

Point is, Haiti achieved it 24 years before Jamaica. After 74...a Haitian team has won the concacaf champion's cup... Haiti has not achieved much since then...but on the international level..have achieved more than Jamaica will ever achieve. Jamaica will NEVER in our lifetime win an international competition. Maybe Haiti either...but we have done it...you can't take that away.
