Maybe all those lame SoccerBot postings are going to go here.

Or is there a rash of FCD news y'all are expecting? :)

Here's hoping that they end up here. That Bot is out of control. He answers to no one and will ruin any game I Tivo.

Yes, this is for the BigSoccer Bot's droppings, which include the DaMN, the Startlegram, and soon, 3rd Degree.

First actual news. Dax McCarty is going to Germany.

To get non-invasive surgery on a sports hernia. He should be back running within 10 days.

    Wish him well.

that (hernia) situation couldn't have been helping Dax make a good showing at the U-20 camp

Did he go to that doctor in Bavaria who uses the relatively new surgery technique (= quick recovery)?

    That is the doctor.

I'm personally still confused about the U-20 camp. He has had this nagging injury for almost a year, and has played through it. He also scored well in the fitness tests at the camp (second in the beep test). Rongen knew of the injury, but I think the decision made to keep Dax off the roster was more political than tactical.

I wasn't at the camp though, and Rongen obviously knows more than I do about coaching, so I'm not going to question his decision making.

That being said, I hope Dax gets a shot at the WC roster.
