Estadio Anoeta is the venue in week 19 for Los Che. Sociedad are sitting 19th 24 goals conceded 12 scored. Valencia will be looking for another away win but despite the fragile opposition the game could go anyway. The home defeate to Getafe should be in the back of the players minds but without the copa del rey packing the calendar Valencia should have a slight bit pressure taken off them.

    Team news
    Goalkeeper: Cañizares & Butelle

Defenders: Curro Torres, Miguel, Cerra, Ayala, Albiol & Marchena

Midfielders: Pallardó, Albelda, Vicente, Joaquín, Hugo Viana & Jorge López

Fowards: Angulo, Silva, Villa & Morientes

Not avaliable: Baraja, Regueiro, Gavilán, Moretti, Edu, Mora, Del Horno & Navarro.

The big news is that Vicente returns.

    Prediction
    0-2

    Player to watch: David Villa;)

Hopefully it can be 6 wins out of 6, Sociedad have been really struggling for goal and their defence isnt watertight, so if Valencia can get an early goal or two then we should win the game.

Vicente is a great player, its good to have him back because he can torture defences with his pace and trickery.

Yep, we can get to within 2 points of Sevilla. Barca have Gimnastic at Nou Camp so they'll win, but they can only get to 38 same as Sevilla, Real Madrid are at Real Mallorca so they'll probably win, but again they can only get to 38.

Sociedad is a must win now, if we can get the three points, the title race is well and truly back on.

    Come on Valencia!!!

    Finished 1-0 to Los Che!

Great result, David Villa getting the only goal after 29 minutes.

Great free kick by Villa, I can't believe how close this season's title race is!!

What a turn around by Los Che little over a month ago they were just clinging on to stay in the top half of the table. Now they have turned it around and I think they will push RM, Sevilla and Barca all the way as long as they don't get anymore injury problems.

Just seen the goal, great free kick the keeper didnt even bother to move, he knew he couldnt save it!

Yeah Valencia stand as good a chance as the leading 3 of claiming the title, although Barca have a game in hand which could give them a 3 point gap. Luckily most of the players who were injured are now back, hopefully there can be no more injuries between now and May, as the injuries we had before christmas were enough for one season!
