Noodles! I want to challenge you. However, looks like you already have one scheduled. Maybe next week.

Does anyone want to do a pair of home-and-home international friendlies during the next two weeks?

I'm brand spanking new to this thing and would like to get a friendly in before my first game.

    Northwood FC
    225250

Edit: I got challenged but I think I'm going to be destroyed.

This team I am playing is #3 in IV.52 (don't have any idea what that means) and it says their league rank is 338. They have also advanced from round 3 of some Cup. Not to mention they drew a crowd of 73,000 for a recent game. I don't have the slightest idea of how to gauge my team but I guess I should be thankful it's only a friendly. Also, can someone please tell me what TSI is?

don't worry about getting destroyed in friendlies, friendlies don't affect anything on your team. If you want to not worry about getting a friendly, sign up for the BS Cup I Got Next, that will allow you to play people from here on BS for at least 6 friendlies, so you wouldn't technically have to look for a friendly.

TSI is Total Skill Index, it's the players skill rating. The higher a players skill(passable, solid, excellent, etc), the higher his TSI.

And if you need help, just ask your questions around here, almost everyone in the here is willing to help you develop your team.

Thanks Kuhnscoot. I might be asking the odd question here or there. I have just realized that this game is very time consuming and I took the time to find out my player's skills and weaknesses. First game in 5 minutes we'll see how this plays out.

I guess I didn't get my changes to my line-up in so I am playing with a crap one. I guess it took longer than I thought to evaluate each guy and find them a spot. Playing a basic 4-4-2 and down 1-0 after 2 minutes. This is gonna be ugly.

Once you get the hang of it, the game doesn't take much time (although many of us spend waaay to much time doing it), but you can rest pretty assured that you have at least several weeks of getting your ass handed to you before you start winning games.

Haha thanks. I figured that it would be rough going for the start. I just hope to score a goal in one of the matches. It's 2-0 in the 19th minute to them. I'd be happy with 5-1.

Also does it refresh automatically or will I have to keep doing that?

Hit the wee soccer ball icon for HT Live, and that will refresh once per minute.

They pipped me just before the half and it's 3-0. They had 95% possession. :(

Ended 4-0. They had 97% possession in the 2nd half.

Now what skill helps possession? Passing I would assume, but for training would I use short passes or through balls? Also, what do some of you guys think is the best training setting for a new user? I'm currently set at scoring at 90%.
