By winning the Digicel Cloture this team proves that it will truly be the best of Haiti that will be participating in the Qualifiers. THANKS TO DIGICEL, and the work of the Fédération Haïtienne de Football, Haiti's Champion's are assured participation in the CONCACAF Caribbean Qualifiers. Continued cup experience will surely bare fruit for Haitian Football. It's a great way to expose Haiti's players and both coaches and players will learn from playing against the best teams of the Caribbean. Haitiwebs Sports congratulates Aigle Noir of Bel Air!
I have a friend that plays semi-pro here in NJ. He's a GK, and he says that his main competitor for the spot is a (former) Haiti NT GK. Now, I guess it's safe to assume there aren't too many Haiti (semi)-pro GKs in the area, so Bana, or Flash would you guys know this player's name by any chance? In a nutshell: 1. he's Haitian (obviously), 2. he plays goalies, 3. has played for Haiti (or at least been called up). Thanks in advance for any help! Metro
I want to know if anybody has any info on this Haitian gk by the name of Edvar Limage, he has been signed to play for the PR Islanders for the CFUCC as our second gk and maybe will stay in the team for next season.

FlashEP, Hey man, can you tell me where you got that information from? I can also see that the list does not include Jean-Jacques Pierre. I know he won't leave Nantes right now because he is a starter but they don't even put him as a possibility? Plus a couple of players I can't find their names on the teams rosters (i.e Wyn Belotte, Watson Coriolan). Are they really considering Ricardo Pierre-Louis? He has been tearing it up in the NAIA. He has also been named all american for the 2nd year in a row. Hopes he gets his chance. Let me know where you got those information. You must be haitian so banm bri man!!!
Yeah i get most info from either Haitifoot, Sakapfet, or Le Nouvelliste. Yeah Jean-Jacques Pierre is doing a great job over in France and Jean Philippe Peguero is continuing to show good signs during his injury period over in Denmark. As for Wyn Belotte, he was playing for the Montreal Impact (USL) and most recently was playing for the Toronto Lynx (USL), so all that is known is that he's training in Canada and he's been playing well for the Haïtian Diaspora team. Watson Coriolan was playing in Uruguay for awhile until he decided to come back home but that trade agreement is still getting underway. Rumor has it that he's wants to play alongside Alexandre Boucicaut for Violette AC next season. Yeah i heard Ricardo Pierre-Louis has been handlin his bizness in the NAIA. I'm anxious to see what this kid can do and so is everyone else.http://www.haitifoot.com/players/ricardo_pierre_louis.php oh yeah, group J has been moved in the dates and location. The group will be played in Trinidad & Tobago from January 5th to the 9th.

Baltimore SC The group B winner will advance to the semifinals, to be completed before December 31st, at a venue of one of the semifinalist clubs.

Argentinian coach, Scandino off to winning start with Don Bosco Don Bosco's newly appointed head coach, Mario Scandino made his debut yesterday as Don Bosco edged out Aigle Noir on PK's to win the 2006 Super Coupe D'Haïti. Last week, Don Bosco had announced that Scandino would be replacing his fellow Argentinian counterpart Claudio Freiran as head coach of the Port-au-Prince based club. Meanwhile Freiran will be kept busy, he will remain the Haïtian U-20 head coach as they will travel to Panama next month for the 2007 CONCACAF Under-20 Final Round. Mario Scandino, Don Bosco's new head coach Don Bosco, under Claudio Freiran, had finished first in the general classification from the three turns of the national championship without anything to gain (as Aigle Noir had won the Digicel Cloture) played the black eagles yesterday night in a match determining the Super Champion d'Haïti with Don Bosco coming away with the win. (from left to right) Mario Scandino, Don Bosco's Director of Public Relations Paul Villevranche, Club President Ford Jean Baptiste, and Director of Marketing Thierry Bijoux Scandino and Don Bosco will now use their Super Coupe win and #1 league ranking as they now prepare for the Super Huit beginning wednesday against Zénith. Congratulations Don Bosco, 2006 Super Coupe D'Haïti Champions!
Super 8 results Day 1 1) Cavaly 1:0 Racing Club Haïtien Goal by Amy Andre 2) Zénith 2:1 Aigle Noir 3) AS Mirebalais 2:1 Baltimore SC 4) Victory 1:0 Don Bosco Goal by Vernet
This must be the most competitive league in the region. Look at Baltimore which just won CFU group B in Jamaica. They lost 2-1 to AS Mirbalais while the reigning super cup champs Don Bosco just got beaten by Victory 1-0. It's a dogfight! I love it. In Jamaica, it's like there are only three clubs Tivoli, Hview, and Waterhouse. In TnT, apparently only two clubs with hilarious names always finish top of their so-called proleague. In Haiti, the competition is much more serious for the top clubs. The most popular Haitian clubs RCH and Violette AC are no longer the powerhouses of Haitian football. They are struggling to remain in the top 8.
You have a strong point there, but to be fair Zénith, AS Mirebalais, and Victory were all playing at home.
Major Upsets Galore On Match Day 1 of Super 8 Victory On match day 1 of the première édition of the Super 8, League powerhouses Don Bosco, Aigle Noir, and Baltimore SC all tasted defeat away from home. AS Mirebalais knocked off a tired Baltimore SC side 2-1 at Parc Saint Louis thanks to the brilliant play of Haïtian U-20 team star, Oscaldo Jérémie. Baltimore SC had just returned from Jamaica after winning their respective first round group (B) of the Caribbean Club Championships. Meanwhile in Cap-Haïtien, the home side Zénith shocked Aigle Noir 2-1 at Parc Saint Victor thanks to goals by Leonel Saint-Preux and Canes Jean Charles. "We are motivated to gain this meeting" declared, Leonel Saint-Preux of Zénith in the morning of match day 1. Since a very disappointing and winless campaign in Jamaica, Aigle Noir has yet to win a match and will try to end that losing streak (5) this Saturday at Stade Sylvio Cator. Back in Port-au-Prince, thanks to a late strike by Vernet Woobens in the 87th minute, the home crowd celebrated as Victory stunned the newly crowned Super Coupe champions and #1 ranked Don Bosco. The 1-0 final score was very much a letdown for Don Bosco goalkeeper Yvener Normil who had a brilliant game and was often called "Chilavert" by the spectators. In the final match of the day, a goal by Amy André was enough to get Cavaly a win against Racing Club Haïtien at Parc Gerrard Christophe. Match day 2 & 3 will take place the upcoming friday and saturday as Baltimore SC as well as the 3 Port-au-Prince based clubs of Don Bosco, Racing Club Haïtien, and Aigle Noir will try to rebound from their match day 1 losses.

Super 8 Final December 23, 2006 Stade Sylvio Cator Racing Club Haïtien vs. Baltimore SC The winning club earns $10,000(US) with the runner up earning $7,500(US).
Baltimore SC and Racing Club Haïtien in Super 8 Finale Racing Club Haïtien had booked their place in the final of the Super 8 thanks to a 4-1 penalty shootout win over Victory. Haïtian international Fénélon Gabbart was nearly unbeatable as Victory's penalty shooters could only get 1 goal out of 3 shots past him. The Port-au-Prince based club will need more of their goalkeeper's magic as they will battle Baltimore SC tonight in Haïti's national stadium, Stade Sylvio Cator. Racing Club Haïtien forward, Ronald Michel, executes some "air control" against Victory Meanwhile in St. Marc, the home club Baltimore SC held Zénith to a 1-1 draw after winning game 1 of their series 3-1. The St. Marc based club has advanced to the semifinals of the Coupe Caribéenne des Clubs Champions after winning their respective group in Jamaica earlier this month. Baltimore SC has been drawn to play San Juan Jabloteh of Trinidad & Tobago on January 26th for the right to play in the finals.
Good for u guys competition wise. I do agree that our clubs names are some what ridiculous but dont start bashing our PRO league until you beat them. And another thing our league has several teams, not two, that could eaisly compete in the CFU. North East Stars were supposed to be our reprisentatives last year, San Juan and W Connection I assume are the two you are talking about, Joe Public won the league this year and Defense Force do have a great pedigree in the region. Until you guys can beat us dont hate. And dont bring up the crap about how your teams dont take caribbean competition seriously cuz thats getting really old besides it is right now the only way to measure these clubs agianst each other.
