I guess subtlety isn't Tom Tomorrow's strong point. Damn, I have a headache from being hit over the head. Good idea, horrible execution.
I actually think he might disagree given his admiration for Bolling (Ken Fisher)! Super-Fun-Pak Comics is a bit less approachable than most of his other work, though often truly brilliant. In any case, Tom Tomorrow is writing for a less sophisticated audience, which perhaps explains his need to hammer his point home ad infinitum. I'm just diappointed because I think he could do a lot better. http://www.amazon.com/Thrilling-Tom..._bbs_sr_1/102-1897210-1884127?ie=UTF8&s=books
FAVORITE Political cartoons. my teacher for AP History told me that next year in AP gov. we will be studying a lot of political cartoons so I was hoping you all could post some.
I'm bumping this old thread. It's meant to be an all encompassing political cartoon thread, for us to post any political cartoons that we like, find funny or relevant. Also, (hint, hint), I am hoping that those posters who are talented enough to draw your own political cartoons will also be posting them in this thread. Ok, I guess the topic du jour is the "Mosque at Ground Zero", so I'll kick it off with this one...
Okay, I'll post my latest here. http://gynostar.wordpress.com/2010/08/23/gyno-star-enlightens-the-masses/ I'm trying to add a new one every day. But they take a lot longer to make than I expected!
