O.k., it looks like the Chivas thing is probably close to a done deal. So it seems high time to welcome this team that will probably be the only team in the league more despised than the Burn. I for one am just getting started on a few nicknames, such as: Las Cabrasquechupan Team Viagra McChivas, inc. Los Guarani perdidos This is sort of like the Yankees trying to start up a franchise in Alabama or something.

Booo Chivas in the begining of the end for MLS. If MLS knows whats best for them, they will not let Americia buy a team. I dont want MLS becoming the younger sibling of the rest of the world to boost its popularity. This league needs its own footprint on world soccer, and other leagues wont help. We dont wana be looked at as anoter division of those leagues.

stupid all i gotta say is that this whole Chivas thing is gonna be a complete joke. Those fuquin goats think we are a joke and they are gonna walk all over us. The only good feeling I have is for the Estadiums to have BETTER ATTENDANCE because all the "records" that the MLS has are low compared to other Leagues from other Countries...... On TV the Announcers will say that they have 1,000 people in attendance, but it looks like 100 attended. I mean I love MLS and all but if Pele couldn't almost fully fill the Stadiums Chivas might.... And like I stated, MLS will be making MORE money instead of loosing it.....

This is a nation that has a professional league for 75 years or more, and still Mexico is never a threat to do ANYTHING in any international competition. Has there been even one Mexican player since Sanchez to do anything of note outside Mexico? Has there been even one Mexican player to actually EARN his paycheck in MLS? Chivas, and all Mexican football, with their whining to refs, diving, and just pure sh!te on the pitch will be a blight to MLS. Let Mexicans enjoy their substandard league and their substandard 'seleccion.' Cheers!

Theres been a couple you dumbass and does the US even have a player who has started in his team won Champions League and won a Scoring Title 5 times in a top league like the Spanish league like Hugo Sanchez? Nope so i guess they are *#*#*#*# by your logic. And please dont even start with MLS. All the Mexican players that have been in MLS were waaaay past their prime.

They lost in back-to-back World Cup Championship matches, both times to the host nation. That's more than an awful lot of teams have done. Now, Spain... there's some serious under-achieving. Mexico would have to flounder for several more decades to achieve the degree of frustration those guys have inflicted on their fans. Oh, and as of now I don't hate Chivas. I might, but only because they're not the Chicago Fire. Since they don't really exist yet, there's no point in hating.
...the fact that a foreign team is going to be allowed to set up shop in OUR league, is more than enough fodder for Rome and his people. its infinitely more damaging to our reputation to let chivas buy their way into MLS, than it is for us to hate them.
