He, in one (drunken?) interview, insulted Fabio Capello (ok, nothing new there), Carlo Mazzone (by assuming he'd leap at the Roma job when he's already in discussions with Ancona), faithful old Marco Delvecchio ("we don't need him anymore"), AND German club Bayer Leverkusen (for stating that a deal for Lucio has been set and that an Italian bank is buying 5% of the club - Bayer denied both claims). Within hours, Roma's publicly-traced shares were dropping, probably because people realized the president must be getting senile. The club quickly released a "reparatory statement".
